"Keep Searching"

What it lacks in beach, it makes up for in mosquitos. There is no beach access, you have to walk maybe 100m down the busy road and there is a beach where you can pay to rent a chair. The room had SO MANY mosquitos. The beds have nets and that’s great if you never leave the bed. We gave up the mosquito fight and left, we did not even stay one night but they charged us for 3 nights and said it was non-refundable. The owner was there (not Sri Lankan) and was just concerned with getting his money. Real winner. There are many nice places to stay in this part of Sri Lanka, I recommend staying somewhere else.

The location is lovely and the staff are very friendly and accommodating.

The hotel is a bit scruffy and there are lots of mosquitos by the pool area. Also, be careful if you stay on a Wednesday or Saturday. There are parties at a venue very close to the hotel and we found it difficult to sleep because the music was so loud in our room.

"Excellent mid price hotel with snorkeling off the beach"

Excellent location. Great friendly helpful staff. Lovely breakfast. Lovely room with a fridge and a safe and good mosquito netting on the bed if you wanted to sleep with natural ventilation.

The AC in the room took half the night to catch up. The plug fell off the bedside light when we tried to plug it in. There were some bare wires in the pool lights but looks like it was all disconnected. All in all nothing unusual for this price bracket accommodation in Sri Lanka!

"Lovely Beachside Hotel"

Great beachside location with a relaxed vibe. I loved the clean rustic feel of the room with the outdoor bathroom. This was the PERFECT choice for our 2 nights stay in Matara district.

There was no wifi in the rooms and maybe the swimming pool PH could be balanced better. But nothing that was a major issue.

"I would def stay there again."

Room was super spacious. Pool is amazing. Little paradise. Breakfast was great and the location couldn’t better. Just wake up and swim with turtles before breakfast.

Would have been a nice add on to get towels for the pool. Internet was not working in our rooms. Only near reception by the pool. Could have used some coffee in the room.
