Pratha (our butler), Raj (restaurant), Irish (reservations) and Jayant (chef) took great care at every point to ensure our stay was very comfortable. We had a lovely ocean view and relaxing stay.

DO NOT GO!!!! Totally misadventures! This resort is only for the Indian public!!! We arrived just before Christmas and Christmas was a gala dinner! Food was only Indian, music was only Indian! FOR CHRISTMAS!!!!!!!!! Property is not looked after!!! Food it totally overpriced and this is knowing we go 5-6 times per year!!! This resort is NOT 5 star that’s for sure! Terrible reviews from everyone around! We had the most expensive villa and had concrete as a beach!!!

We loved Taj Exotica Resort & Spa! Location was great, not far from Male Airport, about 25 minutes by private speedboat. This resort is definitely worth your money. We received a very great and warm welcome upon arrival. They made Check-in easy, and our room was at the edge of the beautiful ocean. It is a quiet snorkeling Island with lots of coral. This Island is perfect to celebrate a wedding or to have your honeymoon. The staff provided lots of useful information about the Maldives Islands. Housekeeping checked the room daily, if we needed any extras, we requested this to Mr. Aalif, he and his great team did a great job. The room was spotless every. He made sure that we had everything we needed. Breakfast buffet had fresh fruits, smoothies, pastries and many variations, something for everyone (even lactose free). The dinner in the restaurant was extremely delicious, good taste and you really finished your plate. The kitchen staff (Head Chef and his great team) were fantastic! Mr. Aalif and his team were taking care of us. We had a Birthday, and they surprised us with a nice dessert and a beautiful cake in the room, even on our bed was decorated with “Happy Birthday” written with Bamboo leaves. Incredibly beautiful and surprising. The swimming pool was very clean and was next to the sea, the view was fantastic! The most impeccable part of our stay was the entire staff's hospitality, which was A1 and made our stay a very memorable happening. We highly recommend this hotel with their most respected teams of operations. Upon departure you are waved goodbye with sadness with a Banner "We will miss you" a feeling to come back.

Resort was very comfortable. Facilities were very good! Beautiful scenic views.

Motorsport water activities by third parties are outrageous. Very very expensive for the limited services. Prices are more than double!

The staff are friendly and the restaurant chef Jay went out of his way to ensure we were happy with the food.

The resort is directly under the flight path and the noise of the jet engines is constant. The property appears to be run down and needs a refurb. There are no dark out blinds in the bedrooms. There are no safety barriers on the walkway the to the suites. There is a high tide at night and walking to the room is scary. There are no buffets and the a la carte menu is limited.
