Suhaila Palace

Para comenzar, me ayudaron a gestionar el traslado desde el Aeropuerto hasta el muelle de Kuala Besut, y de ahí, el barco hasta el Hotel. Al salir del aeropuerto el mejor y más simpático conductor de Malasia me estaba esperando para llevarme a mí aventura. Nada más bajarme de la barca y llegar al hotel sentí como si llegara a casa. Suhaila es la mejor de las anfitrionas. Me recibió con su famoso bizcocho de banana y una botella de agua fría. El lugar es precioso. Acogedor, limpio y frente al mar. Las habitaciones son sencillas pero disponen de todo lo necesario para pasar una muy buena estancia. Cama cómoda, buen aire acondicionado, también un pequeño ventilador, cafetera, zona de perchero, mesa y baño con gel y champú. Fuera de cada habitación hay una mesita con sus sillas, perfecta para relajarse mirando al mar. Además, prestan toalla para ir a la playa. En la zona de recepción hay un pequeño supermercado con productos básicos (galletas, artículos de higiene...) a buen precio.  También dispone de un pequeño restaurante donde sirven desayuno, comida y cena. El precio es muy bueno. Podrían abusar sabiendo que hay muy pocas alternativas para poder comer, y sin embargo, es más barato que otras zonas de malasia.  En recepción ofrecen distintos Tours para hacer Snorkel (recomendables) y servicio de Taxi Acuático.  La ubicación es genial. Cerca de unas playas preciosas y con posibilidad de realizar treking por la isla. En cuanto a Suhaila, es maravillosa. Se portó conmigo como una madre. Al viajar sóla, estaba preocupada y pendiente de mi. Me ayudó y aconsejó en todo. En general todo el personal fue muy amable y cariñoso. Muchas gracias por todo. 100% recomendable. Alojamento à beira da praia com pessoas muitos simpáticas. A água do mar é muito limpa e quente. A Suhaila está sempre disponível para ajudar em qualquer necessidade ou informação. Na entrada existe uma loja com tudo aquilo que podemos ter esquecido de levar. Todas as noites, na praia ao lado pode-se comer peixe grelhado.

L'accueil à mon arrivée était vraiment sympathique : on vous offre du banana cake (super bon) et une bouteille d'eau. L'hôtel est en bord de mer sans plage mais elle se trouve à 20m. possibilité d'un petit jungle trekking pour accéder à d'autres plages. l'hôtel dispose un service de restauration pour le petit déjeuner et boissons, ainsi qu'une petite épicerie. la literie était confortable, la climatisation fonctionnait bien. la chambre est simple. gentillesse de la réception qui a accepté de décaler du check out à 11h afin de pouvoir profiter de la plage et perdre une douche avant de partir. restauration à proximité réservation d'une super excursion à pedang island : je recommande.

une certaine humidité qui était sûrement du au fait d'être proche de la mer : difficile de faire sécher les serviettes.

Prachtig plekje direct aan zee, basic maar voldoende. Je krijgt een fijn groot badlaken te leen, kan kosteloos snorkel spullen gebruiken en het ontbijt was lekker. Suhaila is een vlotte, lieve dame.

Our stay at Suhaila Palace was honestly an amazing experience from start to finish. The location is absolutely breathtaking, with beautiful views all around and such a peaceful atmosphere. One of the coolest things was being able to see baby sharks swimming near the front porch at night — something we’ll genuinely never forget. The room had everything we needed: strong AC, good Wi-Fi, a comfortable setup, and all the essentials for a relaxing stay. The connection was even reliable enough for me to do some online teaching during the trip, although once you’re there, you really just want to switch off and enjoy island life. Suhaila was incredibly hospitable and helpful throughout our stay. She organised really good snorkeling tours and even kindly let us use her own snorkel kit around the nearby beach areas. She also had useful amenities available in her shop and gave excellent recommendations for food spots nearby. Overall, this was such a memorable and relaxing experience, and we truly hope to come back again in the future. Highly recommended for anyone wanting a peaceful and beautiful stay in Perhentian Besar. Suhaila herself is the very meaning of the word 'hospitality'! She and her staff treated us with respect and kindness our whole stay. Suhaila plied us with more fresh banana bread than we could eat, simple changes were made to the breakfast menu, she advised us not to go snorkelling on the day we'd booked as the swell at the site would be too dangerous for us, told us about all the various eating options and what to expect. The accommodation may not be fancy, but we felt like we were staying at a friend's home. I would go back just for Suhaila's kindness.

L’emplacement est parfait sur la grande île, avec des spot de snorkeling à proximité et les bébés requins qui viennent chaque soir devant l’hôtel. La gentillesse du personnel qui ont toujours le sourire et qui nous font nous sentir comme à la maison. La nourriture est également très bonne avec une mention spéciale pour le plateau de fruit frais!
