Our time at Playa Encantada in El Nido was magical. From the moment we arrived, we knew we had discovered a place that’s truly special. ✨ The surroundings are breathtaking — an unreal beach with crystal-clear water, and a sense of peace that feels almost otherworldly. Every sunrise and sunset felt like a private show put on just for us.🌅 But what made our stay extraordinary wasn’t just the beauty of the place — it was the people. Alberto and Rochelle, welcomed us with genuine warmth and kindness. They made us feel less like guests and more like family. Their hospitality, care, and passion for their place shine through in every detail, and it created a stay we will never forget. 🌴 The local food that was made in the place fresh each day was delicious 🐠🍍 Playa Encantada is one of those rare places that stays with you long after you leave — a perfect combination of stunning nature, comfort, and heartfelt human connection. 🇵🇭 We can’t wait to return. Highly, highly recommended if you want to forget which day of the week it is.⛱️

The best organic food, a beach without people, you just want to go back there, everything is perfect for a stay of a few days.

We spent 7 wonderful days at Playa Encantada Beach Resort, and it truly felt like a small paradise. From morning to evening we were served delicious homemade meals, and the staff were some of the kindest people we’ve ever met. The atmosphere is relaxed, personal, and very homely — perfect if you love animals. Friendly cats and dogs visited us during almost every meal, which made the place feel even more charming. We also had many lovely conversations with the hosts, Alberto and Rochelle, who made us feel welcome from the moment we arrived. Every day we spent hours swimming, snorkeling, and simply relaxing with a book right by the water. If you’re looking for a peaceful getaway with great food, warm hospitality, and nature right outside your door, this is the perfect place. We would come back in a heartbeat!

What Could Be Improved (Minor Things Only) These are only small details, and none of them affected our stay in a negative way: There was no air conditioning, which we already knew before booking. However, with the fan provided and the refreshing sea breeze, we slept surprisingly well and didn’t feel uncomfortable at night. The lounge chairs could be a bit more comfortable, though there was a hanging chair available which we often used instead. It’s very important to arrange your transfer directly with the resort. It’s not cheaper to find your own transport, and doing so is much more complicated. Let the hotel handle it — it’s worth it. Overall, these were only minor points in an otherwise fantastic stay.

From the very first moment, this place felt special. The hosts are absolutely wonderful - genuinely warm people who go above and beyond to make sure every guest has everything they need. The entire team is incredibly attentive, kind, and always ready with a smile. You don’t just feel looked after; you feel welcomed. I stayed in one of the beautiful small cabins with an outdoor bathroom, all built with natural materials and traditional craftsmanship. It’s both charming and calming - everything is comfortable, thoughtful, and full of character. And the food is just wonderful. Home-cooked, full of flavor, and prepared with fresh ingredients from local farmers and fishers. The location is pure magic. The resort sits directly on a beautiful beach, surrounded by untouched nature and the wonderful animals that live on the property - friendly dogs and cats, curious pigs, a gentle cow, chickens, ducks… It all adds so much charm and joy to the atmosphere. If you’re looking for peace, this is your spot. It’s incredibly quiet, with hardly any other tourists around. The whole resort is small, just five houses/cabins, which makes the experience feel intimate and personal. This place is a rare gem. I left feeling completely recharged and would always come back. Highly, highly recommended!

The owners and the family taking care of the property made every effort to make our stay as enjoyable as possible. We were offered a range of different filipino insured vegetarian/vegan dishes. The property has lots of animals that are all very friendly, dogs, pigs, a cow etc that all love lots of fuss. We most enjoyed the relaxation available here, nothing but the waves to.listen to whilst everything else is taken care of. Great place to go to recharge and reconnect.

The wifi here comes and goes, and the shower is slow and steady. If these are a deal breaker for you then don't go. If your happy to unwind away from technology and have the patience to take a slow shower, there is nothing not to like 😊

Staying at Playa Encantada was like staying with family, in the most beautiful peaceful surroundings imaginable! After 2 weeks of travelling in the Philippines, this was the restful break we were hoping for, and our expectations were far exceeded. The food was unbelievable, the best we’ve had in the Philippines by far. Rochelle and her fantastic staff made us feel at home from start to finish, making it so hard to leave! Special shoutout to the lovely dogs, the friendly cows and cute pig ❤️

Lovely people and tasty home cooked food . Beautiful, relaxing and quiet surroundings. If you are looking for a party , this is NOT the place for you .
