The resort is situated in a beautiful and secluded area, away from any noise of traffic at all. The rooms are comfortable and generously laid out. The lush green outdoors make it even better to enjoy some peaceful nature time, especially when you're taking a break from the city. The pool is also quite gorgeous, a really good respite from the fairly dirty beaches around the area.

The original room we checked into had a really terrible strong stink of sewage from the bathrooms, which, after informing the staff, they moved us to a different room thankfully. The new room was clean, neat and no smelly problems. The number of mosquitoes at any given point in time are upwards of 20-30 of them, biting you thru the day! DO NOT forget to take some very strong repellent because the spray ones barely worked. The bathroom space is large and generous, yet, water didn't quite drain out from the shower cabinet every single time after a shower. It spills out onto the bathroom floor and makes it all wet on the bathroom floor, which is not ideal.

Excellent rooms for family, friendly staff, fresh food. Beautiful pool, very relaxing.

Could be more activities, no beach access.

I like the cleanliness of the rooms, the ammenities of the resort i.e. pool, common showers and the beautiful garden. Staff were friendly and acommodating. They allow pets for a minimal fee.

We have stayed here 2 times last year and a year before that, and we enjoyed the place. Although I felt that their price was a bit high, but with the beach access to Tali beach and their choices of free breakfast (filipino, american, etc.) more than made up for the high cost of the resort. But to our surprise, when we were checking in and requested for a shuttle to go to the beach in the afternoon, they said that the beach access is no longer available. So disappointed and a bit irritated, I told them that I would cancel my booking because they did not inform me of this major change when we were communicating over viber. . And so the girl in the reception said that the manager maybe able to bring us to Punta Fuego the next morning only.. when we woke up the nrxt morning, we were so excited and were looking forward to our free breakfast,. But again, to our disappointment, they took out the free choices of breakfast and we were stuck with a pathetic continental breakfast ( bread, eggs, and fruit). We were asking for an upgrade to a Filipino breakfast wherein we would simply add the difference in price of the continental to a Filipino breakfast, but they did not allow. They wanted us to take the free breakfast and order a new set of Filipino breakfast which we refused. "What are we going to do with 2 sets of breakfast? " These and among others i.e our Senior's disc and PWD disc confusing computation, smaller food order quantity, etc made this exoerience, a bit stressful for us. But we still get to enjoy the basic ammenities of the resort with our pets, good service, nice rooms, etc. To make the long story short, I think this place has deteriorated since we last went here last year. My family felt that we were short changed by their new policy given the price they oharge.

the infinity pool was great, the food taste great specially the pizza lolodoc 👍rm.was great size very good AC compfy bed and pillow bath rm. was big great all staff are so freindly and attentive thanxs to Ms.Ylaisa who took care of all my request my family enjoyed the stay looking forward in my next visit, future Mangrove Villa😁.

just may improvement of the road from entrance gate and entire ground facilities and hope they can have phone in the rm.
