Oravský Háj Garden Hotel & Resort

Everything was really great. We arrived late and the manager was in constant contact with us and explained how to get there. Breakfast food is simple but delicious. The hotel facilities are really good, a swimming pool, jacuzzi, sauna and more.

- Nice, clean apartment. They allowed us to place 3 baby cribs, which was very convenient. - All staff members were extremely nice - from housekeeping to reception, restaurant, and the various facilities. - The hotel complex offers many great facilities and attractions, including free boat rides on the lake, free fishing gear, a petting area with rabbits, and other animals to see, horse/pony riding for a small fee, bicycles (we didn’t try, so not sure if free), a very well-equipped kids’ playroom, and of course, a pool, jacuzzi, and spa area with four different saunas and a cold-water pool. Some areas weren’t relevant due to the rainy weather (outdoor playground, outdoor pool), but we didn’t feel like we were missing anything. - Breakfast was nice, and the staff also prepared eggs to our liking and porridge for the kids. For lunch and dinner, there’s also a restaurant with a variety of dishes for both adults and children. Bottom line: Highly recommended, even (or especially) off-season, since everything feels spacious and calm.

- It would be nice to have some evening entertainment (e.g., live music) or at least if the bar stayed open until midnight or 1 AM. - Note that room temperature is controlled through the reception - the remotes in the room don’t have much effect. It was quite cold the first night, and after we informed reception, they adjusted it. Worth knowing in advance, as this setup isn’t familiar to everyone.

Raňajky super, ale cez sviatok problém s čerstvým pečivom. Takýto hotel by mohol piecť (alebo dopekať) vlastné pečivo. Pekné vidiecke prostredie.

Izba "Luxury" nemá s luxusom naozaj nič spoločné. Najprv sme dostali malú izbu (foto), bez balkónu, s malým oknom a výhľadom do stromov (inzerovaný bol výhľad do záhrady a balkón). Údajne sa jednalo o luxury izbu lebo tam bol väčší stôl a gauč (gauč tam nebol a menší písací stôl - toľký luxus...). Po prvej noci nám izbu v rámci reklamácie vymenili za o moc lepšiu. Osobne cestujem veľa pracovne aj súkromne a tá druhá izba bola v poriadku (o moc lepšia ako prvá), ale skôr by som ju nazýval vyšší štandard ako luxus. Žiadnu kompenzáciu za prvú noc v 'kutici' sme nedostali, aj keď za Luxury izbu sme priplácali 30€/noc.

Sehr ruhig gelegen. Netter Empfang und Bedienung. Frühstück mit reichlich Auswahl. Abendessen al card oder Buffet. Innenpool sauber und großzügig.

Kaffee am Morgen kaum genießbar Aussenpool leider nicht mehr in Betrieb
