Minitel By The Sea - Pranburi

Fantastic location right on the beach which is pretty much private. Good for beachwalking or just sitting watching the sunrise. Room were comfortable if unspectacular. Pool was small but clean and well maintained. Breakfast was mainly Thai style but generous portions and westerners would have few problems. Staff did not speak much English but were helpful throughout.

This hotel is pretty much a BnB, set up to provide breakfast and clean rooms and thats it. The rooms have a kitchenette and large fridge (no cooking faciities) so it's advisable to bring your own drinks and snacks as nothing is available pool or beachside. There are a number of good resteraunts within a 15 minute drive however.

The hotel is at the beachfront which is private beach. The environment is quiet and relax. it is a perfect place for relaxation. Staffs are helpful.

How I wish I could stay for a few more days longer.

We came from Bangkok for a weekend and were looking for a place to stay, and it was a big success that we decided to check out Minitel. Reason - rooms are spacious, the price is way better than in other options, and the beach is the best that you can find. We can call it almost private to the hotel.

If you need food, you need to check other places. But this was not an issue for us, we found Aleenta. Place near by. They have food better than in Bangkok. Check that out!

Breakfast was good esp homemade yogurt.
