Quiet area but close to everything

Found this to extend my stay in Phuket, pool was nice, rooms large and clean, bathroom very good. Quiet neighbourhood.

Location is not great for some visitors. But was ideal for my needs.

nice rooms and outdoor areas. small so social and easy to talk to neighbours.

i thought it was closer to the beach - but i enjoyed staying at the pool nonetheless.

The pool was nice and I appreciate that they allowed a very late check-in. They left a note on the reception’s window for us with room number.

what to begin with: the mattress in our room was like 20+ years old! very stiff and uncomfortable and you could feel the metallic springs coming out of it poking you. We just could wait to leave the place Towels were over-worn in shreds with holes in them!

Where to begin..we arrived later than planned due to our flight being delayed. We did message the property first and they said it was fine and that our key was left in our door. When we arrived, there was no check in process just told we were room 8. We entered the property and initially thought it was alright and looked like the picture however, what pictures don’t show is: - the bed is not comfortable, it’s so firm yet springy and actually hurts to get in and out of - the water doesn’t drain in the shower and starts to overflow the shower area which then starts to smell very quickly - there’s no basic things like hand soap, floor towel for shower or tea and coffee (yet you’re given a kettle). - the floor was dirty and the bedding was stained - the towels were so old they were fraying, had no edges to them and my partners had worn so much you could see his hand through it - walls very thin and our next door neighbours decided to stay up until 2am going in and out their room to the pool area and smoking (seemingly acceptable at the resort). - front door to property had a big crack in so did not feel comfortable leaving our stuff in the room - also big gap under door letting bugs in We stayed the night due to how late it was when we arrived and swiftly found somewhere else to stay for our remaining 3 nights. When we handed the key back it wasn’t even questioned why we were leaving. Sadly, from reading other reviews our comments are not the first to detail the same experience and wish the owners would take on board the comments as it could be a really nice little place.

Unit 8 has a drain system problem. The owner must really look into this. The stinky drain water keeps coming backing up which makes the room smell bad and you cant use the shower. I had to call the owner out 3 times to correct this during my 5 day stay.

Poor drainage in bathroom. Room never got cleaned once during my 5 day stay there.
