Arton Resort & Beach Club

the room was big and spacious, very comfy bed (the best pillows I’ve ever used!!), shower pressure was good, staff were very friendly and accommodating, the pool is lovely and refreshing. the location is good being close to the beach for surfing and a few (very tasty but cheap) local restaurants nearby. Overall, the value for money is really really good.

it would have been nice if the pool was cleaned while we were there as there were quite a few dead bugs and leaves etc. The bar and restaurant are both closed, but I imagine this is a knock on from covid. it’s sad to imagine how amazing this hotel probably was pre covid :(

staff friendly and helpful. comfortable bed. Aircon in room fairly good but struggled in heat. pool excellent, gardens well maintained. walking distance to eateries.

If you’re after 5 Star then this is not the resort for you. Quite tired looking and needs some maintenance. Restaurant and Day Spa not operating.

Great big rooms, modern bathroom, great price, eating places all along the beach within walking distance. Pool and gardens lovely in the lower section of resort. While upper section seems to be abandoned/out of use.

Breakfast not included. Couldn't order drinks or food during the day. Had to order from an outside place.
