De prachtige natuur om het huisje heen. Het huisje zelf was heel groot met een keukentje (maar zonder bestek e.d). Maar dat was ook niet nodig want het ontbijt en avondeten waren heerlijk. We mochten de fietsen gebruiken om de omgeving te verkennen en zijn naar de ingang van het hellfiremuseum gebracht en gehaald. Na afloop (erg de moeite waard maar een heel vermoeiende wandeling) kregen we een pot thee met heerlijk fruit erbij. Ook konden we lekker relaxen in de rivier in een soort hangmat in de snel stromende rivier. Heel bijzonder. Vooral heel geschikt voor vogel liefhebbers, ik heb in een uur wel 10 bijzondere soorten gespot. En afgezien van de vogels was het onwaarschijnlijk stil.

Dat we niet konden verlengen (omdat het uitverkocht was). Maar dat was zeer begrijpelijk.

Жили в доме на холме. Вид огонь. Отличные матрасы, подушки, кухня. Тихие кондиционеры. Вкусная еда, заказывали в номер шесть блюд. Отличный сад, ухоженная территория, купальня на реке огонь. Рядом нет севенов и магазинов, это территория нацпарка, все что нужно можно привести из города.

Стафф не говорит по английски, но умело пользуется гугл переводчиком.

We found BaanRai KhunYa to be an excellent stay located in a lovely location with stunning views over the River Kwai. Access was easy fron Nam Tok train station with plenty of songthaews and taxi providers waiting for you when getting off the train. You can organise with the songthaew drivers or taxi drivers to pick you up the following day for trips etc too which made things much easier. Food was of a good standard and the facilities worked as expected. A lovely rest stop to schedule in the middle of a busy travel itinerary!

Außergewöhnliche Lage am River Kwai. Atemberaubend am Morgen und am Abend.

Frühstück so lala. Die Angestellten können kein englisch, daher ist die Konversation etwas mühsam.

L’établissement se situe au calme en pleine nature et surplombe la rivière Kwai. Le matin vous êtes réveillés par le chant des nombreux oiseaux . L’accueil est très agréable. Le chalet est propre, sobre , la literie est bonne mais basse au sol. La baignade dans la rivière est sympa. Le Hellfire pass est à 10mn mais les cascades D’ERAWAN à 1h .
