The location was wonderful in the midst of beautiful pines and quaking aspens on a mountainside just above the lake with a beautiful porch to sit on and look at the beautiful lake. Liked the decor very much; the bear artwork, fishing wreath in the bathroom as well as the cute moose toilet paper roll holder made me smile, and my husband mentioned them, too (not usual for him). The cabin and porch has been very well cared for; looks like it's only a few years old.

Even though the high temp for the 2 days we were there was only about 82 deg. F, the room in the evening was a little too warm to sleep comfortably; could barely stand having a top sheet on me. Perhaps the availability of a fan would help. We did open one well-screened window finally, but then it got a little too cool in the middle of the night which woke me up and I had to close it. Part of the dirt road into the lodge area was very bumpy; glad we ended up driving up in our son's Honda SUV as our Honda Accord would have barely made it if we had driven no more than 5 miles per hour for the few really bumpy parts.

The location was gorgeous!

It was a little more rustic than i thought....

Staff was friendly. We had great meals there and the location is beautiful.

Deck furniture could use a little TLC

A serene mountain getaway with a lake view, we loved our cabin and all the fun options that the property offers—we chose horseback riding.

Booking will default you to their oldest cabin. If you are looking to rough it, that is fine. Otherwise, reach out to the property. They’re responsive and very kind.

Beautiful surroundings and extremely accommodating staff.

The staff was wonderful. We ate breakfast and dinner at their lodge and enjoyed both meals.
