Timba Garden FREE TOWN AND JETTY TRANSPORT

The suff was super friendly and they provide free transfer to the jetty. We also had dinner at the hotel. Was super tasty. Its like an oasis in semporna. We stayed in a small private house. The city is not so nice and dirty.

Very pleasant garden environment with a small pool and big, well equipped chalet type rooms in the grounds. The shuttle service to and from Semporna works well. The staff are all very helpful and approachable. Appreciated that you can put your own drinks in the fridge. The food is typical local and excellent value for money

I just wish that Nani didn't do everything herself (apart from having drivers to do most of the transfers). Could consider creating a couple of more formal roles around cooking and in stay room cleaning. Latter not done during our stay.

Bring insect repellent and earplugs for jungle sounds or karaoke sounds Would recommend the hotel to provide pool towels and hang night lamp and provide (more) plugs near bed.

Timba Garden is located around 20min from Semporna in an area that's green and much nicer than Semporna. Semporna is very poor, dirty and a bit rough so being able to relax surrounded by vegetation was great. The staff is friendly and always available to drop off and pick up from Semporna. We were very happy with the day trips they organised for us and the option of having the transfer to Tawau airport.

The place is old and in need of refurbishment, but it's clean and comfortable. Unfortunately, it wasn't as quiet as expected because of motorbikes going up and down the road during the night and various animals' noises. The food is home cooked and good, but pretty basic and some of the ingredients, particularly those at breakfast, could be much improved.

The hosts were really helpful . V nice swimming pool . Room was a good size , good shower and air con plus coffee in room. Lovely chill out area and great food
