The pool was warm and nice . Very warm — the water temperature was 31°C. The restaurant staff were very friendly. I cannot recommend this hotel, so I give it a maximum of 7. The main things we didn’t like: 1. We ordered a taxi for 12:00. At that time, we were at the pool, the rooms were already free, and we had paid for everything. When the taxi arrived and we were ready to leave, they wouldn’t let us go. They said we had to wait until they checked the rooms to see if we had smoked inside!!! We had two rooms and were traveling with two children — of course, we don’t smoke. I said it was simply ridiculous, but the receptionist insisted that we wait until they checked whether we had smoked in the rooms or not. 2. There are no restaurants nearby, so you are forced to eat only at the hotel’s restaurant. We didn’t really like it — some dishes were extremely strange. We stayed there only for two nights, so it was okay, but staying for a week would be impossible. At breakfast, I don’t understand why the chef smears ketchup on the plate — it looks extremely strange. As for drinks, beer is very expensive and only available in small bottles. 3. They present themselves as a 4-star hotel, but there are no fridges in the rooms. This is absolutely unacceptable. 4. This is a small resort hotel with one small pool, but they let locals use the pool if they order something at the restaurant. This is extremely odd for a resort hotel. On the first day we arrived, two adults came with six (!) children. These six children were left alone at the pool, jumping, playing, and splashing around as if it was a public pool, not a resort. Nobody was supervising them. We immediately left the pool area, and later we received a call in our room telling us that these were the owner’s children and that it was normal for them to play there!! If that’s really the case, then it’s even more bizarre.

What else we didn’t like: • The room we booked was the worst room of all and had no fridge. We had two rooms, and for the price we paid, we could have easily been moved to one of the newer, nicer houses — but no one offered this to us. The accommodation offered through Booking.com consists only of rooms, but in the hotel itself, all the other options are separate cottages, which look much better. • The receptionist behaved in an extremely strange manner overall. On the day we arrived, we were with small children, very tired, and our rooms were already ready. Instead of checking us in immediately (which was possible!), she started giving us a sales pitch about what activities the hotel offers, etc. — which was completely inappropriate at that moment. • Our shower was very dirty, and only after we complained did they clean the toilet — which was absolutely filthy before. • The beach directly in front of the hotel was dirty. On the shore, there was the a dead dog, which every day was floating in the waves! To the right, there was a huge garbage dump; to the left, another huge dump where homeless people or temporary fishermen with their families and a colony of chickens were living. It looked extremely unpleasant. Because of the beach — or rather, due to the condition of the beach — I would definitely never come back here.

belles chambres, beau restaurant, face à la mer, la plage est jolie; j'ai pu voir un lever de soleil incroyable. Le personnel est tres gentil, comme toujours à bali;

j'avais pourtant une tres belle chambre, mais l'insonorisation est mauvaise, j'entendais mon voisin dans sa chambre tourner les pages de son livre ! pas de chance il passait ses videos call à 4 heures du matin. Le petit déjeuner n'etait pas genial, il est basique; ce n'est pas un buffet;

Loved the remoteness, tranquility and the beach side location. Loved the swimming pool and the restaurant building surrounded by heaps of coconut trees. Loved the generous room size and comfy bed. You could walk along the beach at sunrise and sunset without encountering anybody.

Loved the remoteness and quietness of Northeast Bali. The hotel's beach side location was perfect, you see the sunrise as well as the sunset. The hotel compound/garden was beautiful and well maintained. The swimming pool surrounded by plenty of coconut trees was stunning. The hotel room was huge. It fits my ideal for a tropical holiday accommodation.

Nothing. The nothingness around the hotel was what attracted me to this place.

The conversations with kind and helpful restaurant manager (?) Dewa made our stay even more pleasant, thanks a lot for that!
