Windy Waves Beach Nature Resort & Kite School

Unieke hutjes, authentiek. Eco resort zonder airco. Gelukkig is er een fan.

Resort con posizione perfetta vicinissima al mare (alcune capanne stanno proprio fronte spiaggia). Capanne ben arredate e pulite (ovviamente non possono essere chiuse ermeticamente e il "rischio" di trovare qualche insetto dentro, ci sta ma fa parte dell'esperienza). Staff molto gentile e l'aperitivo/cena fronte mare (sulla spiaggia!) dove poter assistere al tramonto, non ha prezzo. La cena al ristorante è stata ottima. Mare non ideale per fare bagno ma perfetto per gli amanti del sur e del kite!

Ce logement est incroyable, vous aurez les pieds dans l’eau dans un cadre magnifique. Le personnel est adorable et très serviable, la nourriture excellente (mention spéciale au petit déjeuner). Si vous venez à Kalpitiya pour vous initier au kites surf prenez les cours avec Windy Waves, Nixon et tous les autres sont d’excellents professeurs !

Lieve mensen, heerlijk plekje, goed eten, alle hutten zijn mooi. Mozes van de bediening deed t geweldig. Nixon en de kite crew was top! Gratis met de truck welke tijd je ook wilde heen en weer naar de Lagoon. Onze eigen kite gerepareerd voor een hele goede prijs!

Alles was goed. Als je niet van een open hutje houdt moet je m niet boeken, wij vonden t heerlijk, voetjes in t zand! Zoals overal zijn er diertjes, en willekeurige power of water cuts, of snappen ze je bestelling niet goed. Niets wat niet met een lach wordt opgelost. Geniet ervan!

I appreciated the peaceful location and the resort's eco-friendly design. The clean, open bathrooms with trees inside were a unique touch, and the private beach was exceptionally clean and uncrowded.

Our room was too hot due to poor ventilation; the lack of windows or vents prevented the cool outside air from circulating inside. The parking space was very narrow and limited to 3 or 4 vehicles. Must put an automatic water pump switch, because when there is no water, we have to call the staff.

Das Personal war sehr zuvorkommend und freundlich. Sie haben eine Safari im Wilpattu Nationalpark für uns organisiert und auch bei spontanen Komplikationen sehr schnell und gut weiterhelfen können. Das Zimmer war simpel, mit Deckenventilator und Mückennetz, sauber und für zwei Nächte vollkommen in Ordnung. Wenn man keine einzelne Hütte bucht, teilt man die Outdoor-Dusche und Toiletten mit 3 weiteren Zimmern, was aber absolut kein Problem war. Auch das Restaurant mit Strandbar und Liegen ist schön gelegen und bietet Entspannung und super Essen.

Un coin de paradis, le personnel était très accueillant et chaleureux, la nourriture excellente.
