Ban Mai Vintage

It’s a very nice and unique place. Breakfast was just amazing. Not far from the railway station.

Room was a bit too dark. Not possible to stay without artificial light during the day time.

Eclectic, unique accommodation. So many things to look at. We loved the novelty of it. The rooms were super large and beautifully decorated. The view from our window over the river was delightful. Loved the little breakfast nook with delicate tea cups. The bed was large. Airconditioner worked well. Wifi was also good. Breakfast was OK - not a great deal of variety but enough for us. The pool looked beautiful (we didn't go in as it was unusually cool weather). Quiet location. I loved hearing the sounds of frogs and the river at night. Great for parking - we had a car. I'm not sure how long the walk to town was; I imagine it would be at least 20 minutes.

Shower was a bit tricky to use - had to get it just right before any hot water came out. Bathroom could use a little reno - but it was perfectly functional. Just adding this for anyone who is really into bathrooms. We didn't mind at all.

What a place to stay!!! The museum/collectables/antiques are extraordinary. We wandered around for ages to take it all in. So much stuff and displayed so well. Heaps of plants too. Our room was very comfortable and we slept well. Staff were friendly and very helpful. It didn’t take very long to walk into town and contrary to other reviews the dogs weren’t aggressive at all. As it was a local area it appeared they belonged to the house they were outside

The overuse of plastics at breakfast. The fruit was prepacked in plastic cups and the cutlery was in sets of plastic. A few bananas and plant based milk would have been good

Totally unique accommodation - it was like wandering through a magical Alice In Wonderland experience. Everywhere you look, there is something fabulous - collectables abound! The room was very large and comfortable. Love the gorgeous little breakfast nook looking out over the river with enchanting, delicate teacups. The atmosphere and decor were fab. I loved hearing the frogs at night and the sound of the river flowing. The wifi worked fine. The air conditioning was also good. The breakfast was OK - not 5-star but had enough variety for us and a mix of Thai and Western. The pool looked great, but we didn't use it (it was unusually cool this trip).

The bathroom was a little tired-looking and the shower pressure was low and not very hot (but we found it OK). Just mentioning it for people who are really into bathrooms.
