Announcements about attractions broadcast from speakers in the rooms (!) even twice a day. Loud enough to wake you up or interrupt an online meeting.

I arrived just before midnight after a long journey, reservation confirmed. The hotel looked impressive from the outside, promising a great stay—but that was just an illusion. At the door, I was greeted by an older man with a “Wild West” expression and a blunt “Where’s your wristband?” Yes, a wristband, as if I were at a music festival. He spoke only Polish, so I mimed my way through explaining I had just arrived to check in. Eventually, he got it. The receptionist, though friendly, didn’t speak a word of English. After a few fruitless calls to her supervisors, she found my reservation by name. Small win! But my room wasn’t ready, so I enjoyed an hour at the front desk. Finally reaching my room, I found another surprise—two single beds instead of a double, a strange odor, and a “half-prepared” setup: two towels and no toiletries. Soap? Who needs that in a bathroom? Breakfast was a low-budget buffet resembling a kids’ camp. The “selection” was one type of egg, ham, and cheese, with empty sauce bowls and not a trace of jam. The staff walked past empty trays, unbothered. The coffee machine? Lifeless and apparently not worth fixing. At checkout, it all clicked: I had paid full price for a room typically given to government-subsidized spa guests. I was definitely ripped off! If you’re looking for service and amenities like those on Booking.com, steer clear of this hotel.
