SAMA Jabal Shams Resort is a breathtaking mountain retreat perched on the edge of Oman’s highest peak, offering an ideal escape for those seeking cool highland air and rugged outdoor adventure. Guests can immerse themselves in the dramatic landscape by embarking on the famous Balcony Walk for stunning canyon views or challenging themselves with a hike toward the Jabal Shams summit. While the resort is best accessed by a 4WD vehicle to safely navigate the steep mountain terrain, a round-trip transfer from the Al Hamra fuel station can be arranged at an additional charge of RO 55 per car, accommodating up to four guests.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. A deposit may be required at the property.

Super Lage und sehr nettes Personal! Preis-/Leistung passt.

Wir wählten das Hotel im Februar, weil es uns im Dachzelt auf 2000müM zu übernachten, zu kalt erschien. Im Häuschen war es aber auch nicht wärmer, da der kleine Heizlüfter überhitzte und abschaltete, bevor der Raum erwärmt wurde.

Amazing location, individual balconies are relaxing and also have great views. There’s a great sunset viewpoint up a small outcrop within the hotel compound.

"Very nice mountain resort"

Nice property in the mountains, well located in Jebel Shams. The individual houses are nice and private. Staff friendly, they prepared a sandwich as we arrived before dinner time. The dinner was diverse, both local and western food offered. The room was big with a balcony.

This is a mountain resort, so obviously water and heating is a different system then in a city. Nothing to complain about, except perhaps for dinner could be staggered the attendance as at 7pm there was quite a line of people waiting to get to the buffet.
