Please note K'gari Beach Resort is only accessible by 4WD vehicles. A vehicle access permit is required for all vehicles coming onto K'gari. These can be purchased from the QPWS website and River Heads barge bookings via SeaLink ferry website.. Guests without their own 4WD vehicles, are required to hire one before arrival at the resort. The island can be accessed by vehicle barges that operate daily from River Heads, south of Hervey Bay, to Wanggoolba Creek. If arriving via River Heads, you must book a space on the vehicle barge ferry in advance. From the Sunshine Coast via Rainbow Beach, the Rainbow Venture barge is on demand between Inskip Point and Hook Point between 07:00 and 17:00 and bookings are not required. Please note that there is a 1.4% charge when you pay with a Visa or Mastercard credit card. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests under the age of 18 can only check in with a parent or official guardian. A deposit may be required at the property.

Hôtel au bord de la plage, de très nombreuses chambres donc beaucoup de monde. Nous avons pris le dîner au restaurant de l'hôtel qui était bien. Parking facile pour notre 4x4. Les chambres sont spacieuses avec un petit coin cuisine que nous n'avons pas utilisé. L'hôtel avait pris la peine de savoir si nous avions bien réservé une place de ferry en amont. Appréciable !

Nous avons eu un soucis de voiture et avons utilisé une seule nuit sur les deux réservées. nous aurions aimé un geste de l'hôtel.

There’s a kitchen with no cooking facilities. No signs to say you can’t cook so we cooked brekkie with our potable gas stove. It set smoke detectors off. More clarification on the rooms being “no cooking allowed” would be better. The wife dropped an ear ring and it bounced under the bed. We moved the bed and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned in years with heaps of dust, lollies, pop corn under the bed. I’d still stay there though. I’ve place
