booked this property for a Christmas present for my son and his partner, they loved it, ideal place for a romantic weekend away, so much so he proposed there. There all ready planning on going again.

Love the location, we have been a few times before although not for a few year and were very impressed at the cabins and the welcome at the entrance.

Cherrytree lodge, 1st stay in this cabin: This time, I think 4th visit now and nothing like the previous visits. We thought we'd visit for 7 days rather than a 4 day break. Things have changed, I'm sure for the better in the long run. Building work was going on 2 cabins away, the bath / shower was dirty, lights in various rooms didn't work. Hopefully it will be renovated as well. The hot tub lovely as always. But getting expensive now and seems to have lost it's charm. My wifes 60th / our wedding anniversary this time round as well. Very disappointing, we left early.

Flys.Had to Lee doors shut.But we were warned they could be a problem.However there is nothing you can do to stop them.

Situated in a good location for us and was very peaceful and quiet. Plenty of privacy as couldn’t really see the other lodges. Hot tub was fab and the view was lovely! If you want to request an early check in, don’t do it through the Booking.com link, it just gets automatically rejected as the property doesn’t even see this request! We contacted the lodges direct, and their customer service was great and they were able to provide an early check in for us.

There are some areas both inside and outside of the lodge which are a little dated and in need of some tlc- but this would not stop us from coming back.
