Island was great fun to explore Staff were all helpful and friendly All food was well prepared and tasty The reef was impressive, sharks, turtles etc...

The days were not long enough and passed too quickly, maybe if we could slow down the rotation of the earth.

Wonderful experience to stay here. We had a beautiful villa on the beach. The staff is very friendly and the food is good. We experienced some beautiful sunsets. Good snorkeling.

Reconnect perfectly invites you to relax and linger. There is a wonderful coral reef for snorkeling and very soon also for diving. It is great how the owner attaches importance to sustainability and environmental thinking. All our respect to Thomas who built this beautiful resort from scratch. We enjoyed talking with other guests during meals and by the way, the food is varied and very tasty. A big thank you to Thomas and his team! Madeleine & Philipp

There is no connection from Ampana Port. But you have to go to Tete B Port, it is close to Ampana Port. Thomas can organize a fishing boat which is easy.

The location of this is amazing. It feels like a little paradise on Earth.

Reconnect island is amazing, thanks to the hosts and their staff! It's one of a kind experience, a hidden gem that I'm proud to have discovered. It's located on a private island around 30-min boat ride to mainland Ampana. The resort organizes everything for the boat pickup, and even the car pickup if you arrive at Luwuk Airport. Did I already say it's one of a kind experience? No need to detail the beauty of the place as you can see on the photos and on their website or insta account. Once you're there, you can do snorkelling, kayak and standup paddle, trekking around the untouched island. And of course simply admiring the sunrise, and simply admiring the sunset. You can have an overwater BBQ organized (never saw this before than on the island!) and there is also some more romantic things you could get organized if you come as a couple! Overall it's perfect for solo travellers, couples, and groups, who are looking to relax their mind and do great activities in nature, in the safety and easiness of a luxury resort.

Buka Buka Island truly feels private and out of this world. Living there is blissful and a true getaway from the world.
