Location and breakfast is wonderful

The most beautifully decorated and furnished hotel in a perfect location in Gilgit. Spotlessly clean, air-conditioning, WiFi, hot water etc. There is also a spatious balcony. Superb value for money and lovely staff.

Oak Residency was easy for our driver to find. Very clean, with a great breakfast. They helped us book a driver for our next leg of travel. Close to ATM that works for foreign cards.

The location was excellent Rooms were beautifully decorated and spacious, and clean Staff was very professional, and the manager is 24/7 to help. We stayed there twice within 10 days It's definitely our favourite place in Gilgit Good for families as well Lovely Rakaposhi view from the Terrace

AC works fine, but during summer if they can change it to slightly bigger units, that would be perfect.

From the outside, this hotel looks like a beautiful villa, complete with a wide terrace and comfortable seating – perfect for relaxing after a long day. One of the highlights is the rooftop, which offers a breathtaking 360-degree view of the surrounding mountains. Absolutely serene! Inside, the hotel is full of traditional charm. The décor includes elegant arched windows, beautiful paintings, and even embroidered details on the walls and beds – a lovely blend of comfort and cultural aesthetics. The entire place was spotless and very comfortable. You can tell a lot of care has gone into both the design and upkeep of the property. I truly enjoyed my stay here and would highly recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Really nice place to stay in Gilgit. Staff is incredibly helpful and the food is good. WiFi is fast and have AC and hot water.

Nothing really

The room was comfortable and nicely designed. The lobby and the big terrace are a nice touch. The owner was very helpful and helped us to arrange a driver to take us on a tour of the Naltar Valley at a reasonable rate. Moreover he dropped us at the bus stand after check-out because it was raining.

Sometimes there was no electricity (this is common in the area) but they have a generator. The access road is not paved.

We had a wonderful stay at Oak Residency. Our host, Tahir, went above and beyond – he even drove me to a tailor free of charge. The entire place was spotlessly clean, the food was delicious, and the location is on a quiet road, making it very peaceful. Overall, it’s one of the best and cleanest guesthouses we stayed at during our time in Pakistan. We would definitely choose to come back next time!
