Really high prices, especially the spa and service not great. Staff were not trained well and although nice, can’t charge that high rate and not back it up. Better to staff elsewhere for same $$ and better service.

Staff were excellent and helpfull; property was great; so nice to have a spa and gym. Pool area is fabulous and restaurant was very good!

The property is phenomenal. Every detail has been thought of, from design, location, views, staff, everything.

Only thing I didn’t like was when we went to the restaurant the tip was not included in the price of the meal, so we added a tip. When the receipt for signature was brought back an additional tip was added. Of 35%! It made us feel like we really needed to watch the bills at the hotel. In addition they are of course in pesos and so it would be very easy to misinterpret whether or not a tip was added prior to adding your own. Luckily, Spanish is my husbands first language and he very easily picked up on this. This was our only issue the entire trip!

Throughout our whole stay we were offered to pay in Mexican peso or USD. We chose MXN because our Australian dollar was better this way. On checking out it was compulsory to pay in USD and the concierge said there was no way to change it. Why have a menu and bills throughout the hotel in peso when you have no intention of honouring it? So we got stung with a much higher bill.
