Lake Naverone Holiday Cottages

The cottage was cosy and inviting. The scenery was beautiful. Our kids enjoyed the pony rides and swimming in the lake.

My husband loves fishing but unfortunately didn't catch any fish during our stay. We were told the fish are deep down in the lake.

💎My hidden gem💎 It was truly a place that made my heart feel clean and peaceful. Most guests seemed to arrive by car, but I traveled from Pietermaritzburg to Underberg by shared minibus, then did some shopping in Underberg before taking a taxi to the accommodation (around R300). If you don’t have a car, I recommend asking a taxi driver for their contact details and arranging a pick-up for your return. During my stay, I enjoyed trekking, sitting quietly by the lake, and walking around it every morning — it became my daily routine. This has become one of my favorite places, and I would absolutely love to come back again. The dogs were also incredibly cute 🐶 とにかく心が綺麗になる滞在先でした。 ほとんどの宿泊者は車で行くようでしたが、私はPietermaritzburgからUnderbergまでシェアミニバスを使い、 その後Underbergでお買い物をしてからタクシーを使いました。R300でした。 もし車を持っていない人はタクシー運転手の連絡先を聞き帰りにPickしてもらうといいと思います。 トレッキング、湖でただぼーっとしたり、湖を一周するのは毎朝の日課でした。 絶対に戻って来たい私のお気に入りの場所になりました！ 犬たちもかわいいです🐶

this was ohne of the best Places in 8 weeks in south africa!we only regret that we stayed for 2 days and not longer.the cottages are cozy and comfortable and far enough from each other to guarantee privacy.fantastic walks around the lakes and along the river,you dont get tired of the amazing landscape!we loved it!

Amazing staff, view, location, accommodation and facilities - we had a magical holiday and will back every year.
