Lake Naverone Holiday Cottages

Everything. The scenery, the fireplace, the cosy hot water bottles, the built in braai, the wonderful housekeeping, it all made for the perfect getaway. No TV, no WiFi. Which can only be seen as a negative if you don’t like the people you are travelling with 😂 for us it was the best way to unplug and unwind, in nature, spending quality time together! We stayed in cottage no 4 which is not next to a lake (a short walk from the lower lake) and it was perfect for our family. We had easy access to the playground for our toddler. Had a beautiful boat ride on the main lake. The evenings were cold (it’s winter in the mountains) and cosying up by the fire was all part of the experience. Friendly hosts! Thank you for having us, we will definitely be back :)

This was such a pleasant peaceful place to relax and umwind... Breathtaking views to wake up to a lake as smooth as glass in the morning . We enjoyed the fireplace in the lounge and the lake right outside our doorstep with personal.jetty and small rowing boat to use.

Rooms need better heating as it was very cold and the heaters battled.

I definitely recommend this holiday destination to anyone seeking a tranquil and rejuvenating holiday.
