Nice vibe of the private island, bungalow with direct access to the ocean

Paying over 1000 eur a night, you expect water and wifi to be included…

The location on a private island is exceptional! There is no beach. However, one can access the water via a small dock. The water is exceptional; it is crystal clear. Swimming is only possible at the beach of Anse de la Cote Doré, which is an exceptional beach. One must be a proficient swimmer. At the northern tip of the island, there is an opportunity for snorkeling.

Water is not included. The menu for meals remains very limited.We were unfortunate with the weather, as it rained heavily. Consequently, we ended up spending a lot of time on the island. The rooms offer very little comfort. The beds are of poor quality, and the pillows are of even worse quality. Transportation between the island and the beach is included only once a day; otherwise, there are additional charges for a very short shuttle service. However, the staff (Silvia) is very pleasant. Luc is kind and polite. Nevertheless, one pays the price of a five-star accommodation for a setup that is rather rustic and basic. Having traveled to other small islands, there are more charming places available at a lower cost. The prices for food are exorbitant for modest quality.

This is a stunning place to stay and it’s one of those experiences that you are prepared to perhaps, take on some less than pleasant aspects. The island It’s absolutely stunning, perfect for snorkeling .

We had troubles getting any sleep as the bed was feeling and smell a bit like dump… we do understand being literally on the water might have this effect, maybe investing in new mattress and pillows would help.

Tired and worn, needs a refresh especially the bathrooms, the bed was a bit like in a dorm room and the pillows were cheap and very uncomfortable

Stunning location, felt like your own little island. Food was delicious, staff were amazing.

It was frustrating they charge for things like wifi when you have paid so much, but if you are in the room above the restaurant you get away with it. People may find food menu limited but thats to be expected and the food was amazing.

Remote island and a peaceful stay

Property need lot of upgradation and maintenence work. Lot of insects entering the room, door and windows need to be intact. Jacuzzi not working fully

Location is outstanding, staff super friendly and helpful.

Beds a bit hard, few things not working, but given the island location all was understandable. Only real issue is hotel on main island of Praslin playing crappy euro pop on certain nights. A week day stay better than weekends.
