Sundarban Tiger Roar Resort

1. Location of resort perfect 2. the resort is simple - but hygiene and cleanliness is Oberoi standard! 3. evening entertainment 2 night different very very nice foklore and authentic 4. The location and the food were fantastic, although I got the feeling they were not sure how to cater to people who made it there on their own rather than book a package with them.

Great location, room adequate, food was basic but tasty and well cooked. Staff were great and trips well organised

From start to finish, pick up by taxi in Kolkata to return to Kolkata by taxi organised by the Tiger ROAR resort was excellent. The tour manager allocated to us, Mr Chimnay Mukherjee, was attentive to all our needs, including organising our day long boat safari into the Sundarbans, and supplying all the paperwork required to enter the area, plus a sunset river trip, and tuk tuk ride to a local produce market. There was on-site entertainment on two evenings, provided by local tribespeople

There was nothing we didn't enjoy, although it would have been helpful to have had a written guide to inform us about the meanings of the dance movements, and the stories behind the songs we listened to. We have offered our help to Mr Mukherjee and/or Tiger ROAR in putting together such guides for future guests

Palash was an amazing host. Manoranjan was with us throughout our itinerary and helped us with everything right from serving snacks, lunch on the boat, during the Safari and even booking a cab on my way back to Kolkata. They also tweaked the menu for my kids on request. The breakfast served was good. Overall we had a memorable stay and will recommend this property.

A wonderful resort. Lovely room, nice staff, good food and a peaceful location.Our host really helped us with all our needs. The resort also arranged boattrips into the mangrovearea. So peaceful and nice. Our guide told us a lot about the maintenance of the area. So interesting! We didn't see the tiger, but a lot of birds and other animals. It was also nice to just walk around in the nearness, see the locals building boats, farmland and living on the small island.

I like the location and specially the room

Food is a real issue there.
