Cola Beach Sunset Bay

The two owners were absolutely brilliant during our stay catering to our every need. The food was truly delicious and a spectacular view each mealtime. The beach is fully secluded and we had it all to ourselves at one point. A true gem and worth it if you want to be away from all the hustle and bustle of India.

There were some spiders and bugs in the room my girlfriend didn't like, but it is in the middle of the jungle so to be expected!

The location is the best also the staff they are soo good and polite beyond my expectations the best place I have every visited must recommend

I have no words to describe my stay at Cola Beach Sunset Bay. I liked every bit of it starting from the location. The best part is the hospitality and the cleanliness. The calmness of the place is like icing on the cake. It is a proper Beachfront property and the beach is super clean. Food is also amazing.I will recommend it 100 percent.I will be happy to visit again.

Everything is perfect

The location was just what we were looking for, a remote palm lined beach and for most of the stay we had the place to ourselves. There was plenty of natural shade as well as sun loungers and parasols. Happy to serve drinks on the beach, the staff were amenable and keen to suggest items on the extensive menu which were served on a simple deck overlooking the sea. The food was delicious with mains in the R/s 3-500 bracket, more for fresh fish. Local drinks were sensibly priced with plenty to choose from.

The walk down to Little Cola certainly lived up to its description. The local bus terminates at the point where the track leaves the main road, but there is some signage and taxis/scooters are willing to risk their suspension beyond the half way point. The rest is up to the individual, but notably, by prior arrangement, guests arriving after sunset can be met by the staff bearing torches. Overall, It seemed to us that the “resort” was undergoing something of an uplift with wooden cottages replacing tents. Whilst we opted for the stone version perched a little higher up the slope, it offered little by the way of a balcony or outlook; the newer versions (cheaper) were on the lower level adjacent to the beach, albeit from our perception, only the front two offered an uninterrupted sea view.

Exceptional location, so peaceful. The view was just amazing from the property. Really nice staff.

Just the toilet door in the en suite wouldn’t close properly. A minor thing really!

Cola Beach Sunset Bay was absolutely amazing. It was the nicest stay ever!!! I loved the whole vibe. Staff was so sweet, friendly and so kind - they made you feel really welcome. Miss you already :) Also they did everything to make you satisfied. Food was absolutely great also. Can definitely recommend their seafood, Fried Rice, Greek salad, cold coffee and their garlic gravy paneer. Rooms were some of the cleanest I’ve stayed in and they can also provide laundry service. I loved everything!! Can recommend this place to everyone!! I’m definitely coming back! Lots of love, Sofie
