Glucklich Beach Cottages

The location is very quiet and peaceful. The beach is very clean as not many people visit and resembles a private beach. Not very ideal for bathing as the waves are tricky. The facilities are good. Rooms are large and spacious. Staff is very friendly and service is prompt. Breakfast was very good. Menu was limited but the quality was nice. The dosas were my favourite. We had the regular dosa as well as ragi dosa one day. There was vermicelli, upma etc other days and they also tasted awesome. For lunch and dinner, we had south indian items like mix veg sambhar, palya. They are not present in the menu but on requesting, the staff prepared them for us. We ordered fish and crab also on couple of occasions. The standout was freshness of all seafood.

The north Indian option for curries has a lot of cream which is not our preference so we stuck to south Indian menu for most part. Bathroom was smaller compared to the room and had some flies.

The stay and location was excellent

Breakfast was very good. Location is the best part of this property. Beach is 20 steps away.
