Atha Resort

We liked everything about this hotel and had a wonderful stay. The staff are amazing and made our stay really special. They serve a set menu for breakfast and the sri lankan platter was delicious. We would also recommend the Sri Lankan Curry, it must be ordered in advance (at least 1 hour), it was both plentiful and tasted amazing. Overall I would highly recommend staying here if you are visiting Sigiriya and we will definitely visit again if we are back in Sri Lanka.

Our stay at Atha Resort was one of the highlights of our trip to Sri Lanka. The property is incredibly serene and surrounded by nature, making it the perfect place to relax after a day of exploring Sigiriya and the surrounding areas. We stayed in a room with a private pool, which was beautifully maintained and added a special touch to our stay. The Sri Lankan breakfast served every morning was hearty, fresh, and delicious, and gave us the opportunity to enjoy authentic local flavours each day. What truly made the experience exceptional was the staff. Everyone was warm, attentive, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay. A special thank you to Ishan, who made everything effortless for us. He arranged all of our activities, tuk tuk rides, and car transfers, always with a smile and great efficiency. His flexibility with both our check in and check out times was greatly appreciated and made our travel plans much easier. The level of hospitality we received was outstanding.

Nothing to dislike. The peaceful setting means you are surrounded by nature, which is part of the charm of the property.

I would have loved to give a 10/10, because the location and staff were absolutely fantastic. Unfortunately, the room that is shown online for booking is not the one that you will necessarily receive. In our case, our glass doors were facing the pool, and were half covered by a privacy protection. Given that it was only half covered, we had to keep our curtains closed at all times, which defeats the purpose of this property…

Absolument tout ! Très bel hôtel, très propre, très bien entretenu. Dès qu’on passe la porte de la propriété, on se sent bien. Le personnel est d’une grande gentillesse et toujours là pour vous aider. L’équipe du restaurant est top et la nourriture y est très bonne. Le petit déjeuner sri lankais est gargantuesque. Le wifi fonctionne très bien. La chambre est belle, spacieuse, propre et dispose de tout ce qu’il faut. La piscine est magnifique, bien entretenue.
