Property Notes

Option 1: From Velena International Airport (MLE): 75–95-minute domestic flight to Gan and a 10-minute speedboat ride to Canareef: (Male’ – Gan – Resort – Gan – Male’). Non-direct flights may take longer to reach the Resort/Male. Period: Until October 2026: - Adult (12 years and above): USD 520 per person. - Child (2–11 years): USD 445 per child. - Infant (0–2 years): Free of cost. Period: from November 1, 2026, to October 31, 2027: - Adult (12 years and above): USD 530 per person. - Child (2–11 years): USD 450 per child. - Infant (0–2 years): Free of cost. Option 2: From Gan International Airport (GAN): 10-minute speedboat ride to Canareef: (Gan – Resort – Gan). - Adult (12 years and above): USD 80 per person. - Child (2–11 years): USD 40 per child. - Infant (0–2 years): Free of cost. The transfer charges are return transfer charges. The transfer payments need to be made directly to the resort by the guest. Domestic flight transfers are handled by a third-party company, Island Aviation Service (IAS). To arrange Domestic flights, the Resort must receive all transfer details at the time of booking accommodation and no later than 2 (two) weeks prior to arrival, including the full names of all visitors as they appear in their passports, along with the flight details to and from the Maldives. Please note that guests arriving at MLE airport after 22:00, same-day domestic transfer to Gan cannot be guaranteed. However, overnight accommodation in Male or Hulhumale can be arranged at the guest’s expense. Please note that guests departing from MLE airport before 09:00 may need to depart the resort the night before and again. Overnight accommodation in Male or Hulhumale can be arranged at the guest’s expense. Resort will not guarantee same-day transfers if transfer details are not received within this time or if the transfer details are amended within 10 days of arrival. The domestic transfer provider imposes a luggage restriction of 20 kg for checked luggage and 5 kg for hand luggage. Cancellations within 96 hours of domestic transfer travel incur a fee of USD 120 per person. Name changes during check-in: USD 50 per person. Children under 5 years will eat for free based on the rules and meal plan when accompanied by an adult. Please note that a Green Tax of USD 12 per person per night applies to both children and adults. Gala dinner: Please note that the property has a mandatory gala dinner on 24 December and 31 December as follows: On December 24: - Adult (12 years and above): USD 160 per person. - Child (6–11 years): USD 80 per child. - Infant (0–6 years): Free of cost. On December 31: - Adult (12 years and above): USD 200 per person. - Child (6–11 years): USD 100 per child. - Infant (0–6 years): Free of cost. Gala dinner charges for additional adults (3rd and 4th person) and children must be paid separately. Please present the same credit card used to guarantee your booking when checking in.Please inform of your expected arrival time in advance. You can use the Special Requests box when booking, or contact the property directly using the contact details in your confirmation. Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply. "New Year at Canareef"

The resort is big, clean and has nice beaches. I like the division between two parts with different restaurants. The new year celebration and especially fireworks were outstanding. Food is ok, average, there is a good selection of bars. Premium villa is very big and they are very focused on cleanliness, cleaning always twice a day. I would like to specially recognize waiter Than from Keyma restaurant, he was always so friendly, helpful, never ignored us, always remembered to greet and was very fast with orders. He is beyond helpful and really deserve to be promoted among other staff. Also i would like to thank adeline from reception and Arafat from cleaning team, they were very helpful and friendly too. Arafat never forget any small details in room, was always cleaning very well and having great attitude. Also one cleaner on 31st december who was cleaning our villa 715 was amazing, he returned several times to make sure all is clean.

Getting there was a nightmare. I understand that resort is not responsible for flight changes but they brought us to lounge far inside the island, we waited 8 hours there, first we waited for hotel representative at the airport for long time and even asked other staff to call him, then the departure from male and arrival to gan were not organized, they kept us standing and waiting for long time, we arrived at 7 am to male but reached hotel at 7 pm. However after arrival to canareef all was super well and reception staff was great.

Еднообразни и неефективни начини , които не дават голяма възможност на почиващите да се чувстват като общество. Става въпрос, че на повечето обществени места липсва музика , която като цяло създава предпоставки за добро настроение и желание за споделени моменти с повече и различни хора.

"It was good"

The resort is really nice,there was issue with the personel they try to charge me for the flight but we didnt on that day,came from different hotel so keep the system updated and also pay for the drink by card,they said declined but it was not charge me cash and card in the same time.Of course its not big problem

Assistant Front Office Manager very rude and disrespectful, not supposed to be in front line meeting guests. Best to relocate her to back of the back of the house where she doesn’t have direct contact with guests
