ES Deurali Resort

The location was absolutely to die for - perched over looking the Himalaya’s I had a wonderful panoramic view of the mountains including fishtail, Annapurna range and even as far as manaslu. It is possible to see from the rooms but the best view is from the restaurant balcony at sunrise. The staff were lovely and friendly recommending options for local treks and how to get there by bus etc. They were also super kind and made me super early breakfast on my last day when I needed to catch an early flight.

The rooms were a wee bit dated but to be honest I didn’t really mind too much as for me it was all about the views. The welcome was also a little lukewarm (hence the 9/10) as I had to hike up all 100+ steps with rucksacks despite letting them know my arrival time. Thankfully the a very kind taxi driver assisted. It also felt like they were already closed for the season when I arrived but they were lovely, helpful and kind for the rest of my stay so I think just an end of season thing.

山小屋風のコテージタイプのお部屋で、窓からは山々を眺めることが出来る最高のロケーションです。シェルパ族のご夫婦と若いシェフの男性はとても気さくで、山小屋へ泊まりに来た感じでくつろげました。シェフのお料理もとても美味しくて、自然を満喫でき最高でした！また機会あればぜひ泊まりに行きたいです！お部屋はとても快適でした。

山の上なので許容範囲ではあるけど、お湯の出が少し悪かったかな。バスタブがあるのですが、湯量が少ないのと熱々のお湯ではないので、溜まるまでに冷めちゃう感じ。鏡がかなりウロコ状態になっていたのが気になりました。

A peaceful mountain escape with unforgettable views and warm hospitality—perfect if you want to slow down and enjoy nature. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well-maintained, with large windows that make the most of the mountain view. The family who run the resort were warm, attentive, and always ready to help, which added a personal touch to the experience. The food was also quite good, especially enjoying meals with that stunning view.

The location and views from this resort are amazing! The rooms are cozy with huge windows facing the Mountains and have the basics. The food is great, our compliments to the chef! We were offered many hiking options that we took advantage of & really enjoyed. Cannot say enough about the family…all warm & friendly and very accommodating! We actually called on them from our next stop to take us back to the airport!

The view is simply amazing. This family operated business makes you feel welcome at every step. The communication and pickup from Pokhara are excellent.

An absolute dream getaway just about an hour from Pokhara! I stayed here with my family, and we were completely awestruck by the breathtaking mountain range views — both from our room and right outside. Waking up to that scenery was truly unforgettable. The sunrise is an absolute must see, don’t miss it! The staff were incredibly polite, warm, and attentive, which made our stay even more special. This is a perfect choice if you’re traveling with elderly family members or young children who may not be able to hike but still want to enjoy spectacular mountain views. Highly, highly recommended!
