VILLA MARMARINE BEACH RESORT & RESTAURANT

Très beau site, surplombant la baie. Chambres spacieuses et très propres. Restaurant avec aux plats variés, très soignés et superbe vue sur la baie. Service adorable et très aidant ; possibilité de louer des scooters sur place au prix très avantageux, standard sur l’île. En décembre-janvier, le vent vient du nord, la mer n’est donc pas calme. Mais la mer est baignable, même à marée basse. Pour cela : marcher 200 mètres sur la plage vers l’est. Entrée dans les bassins d’eau turquoise. C’est par là aussi que le snorkelling est intéressant : nager vers le large, dépasser la zone de sable et d’herbier ; après 100 m environ, les récifs de corail apparaissent alors à 1-5 mètres de profondeur, mieux d’ailleurs à marée basse. Corail en bonne santé (environ 60% vivant) avec les traditionnels petits poissons de récifs, sea snake, shrimp fish, etc.

Dommage qu’il n’y ait pas chaises-longues pour se relaxer dans le jardin ou sur la plage ; ce qui n’inspire pas à rester.

Sehr freundliches, zuvorkommendes und hilfbereites Gastgeberehepaar und kompetentes Servicepersonal. Vielfältige und reichhaltige Frühstücksangebote und Menues. Sauberes Zimmer mit Meerblick. Von der Frühstücksterasse hervorragender Ausblick auf die Bucht. Am letzten Morgen konnten wir einen Schwarm Wale beobachten.

The property is falling down. Needs a refurbishment. My husband stepped onto the decking and fell straight through as rotten.

Amazing place! Amazing people! This resort is run by Mr Harada. What we didnt know is that Mr Harada is helping poor children to pay their education and get them better future. What he earns,he invests to this great project! So if you want to enjoy your holiday and have at the same time good feeling that you are actually helping, this is the best place for you. In general very nice location - few steps from beach. Very quite - all you can hear is the sea. Garden is a great place to sit and relax. Staff is super freindly and helpful. Food is really tasty and for a very good price. We felt like we are home - such a great genius loci.
