Restaurants quite Expensive but Quality was Excellent

The hotel has many strong points, especially for families with children. The territory is absolutely beautiful, very large, and perfect for long walks — you can easily spend 30–40 minutes just walking around and enjoying the scenery. It is a very family-friendly hotel. There is a nice children’s playground and a heated swimming pool in April, which is partially indoor and partially outdoor, making it very comfortable even during cooler weather. There is also another pool suitable for children, although it is deeper. It is fully outdoor, but during the day the water warms up nicely, and in the evening it still feels pleasantly warm. Around this pool there are beautiful sunbeds where parents can relax while the children swim. Another major advantage is the stunning view from the restaurants overlooking both the hotel grounds and the ocean. The hotel also has direct access to the ocean area surrounded by cliffs, which creates a truly breathtaking atmosphere. We upgraded our room to a suite in the Main Building, and it was wonderful for a family stay. The suite consisted of a separate living room and bedroom, plus two bathrooms, which made everything extremely comfortable for a family with children. The breakfasts were excellent. In addition to the buffet, guests can order dishes from the breakfast menu at no extra charge, which is included in the stay. Options such as Eggs Benedict, Greek yogurt, freshly cooked eggs, and many other dishes are available. At the same time, the buffet itself is already more than enough, with a huge selection of fresh fruits, fresh juices, smoothies, and many other high-quality products. Another highlight was the massage experience. A special thank you to the massage therapist — although the treatments are not cheap, the quality was excellent and absolutely worth it. During our stay we also visited several restaurants outside the hotel, and we would especially like to mention the Greek restaurant nearby.

There were also several downsides during our stay. We booked the hotel through Booking.com for two adults and two small children. Apparently, we did not fully understand the room category we selected. We were initially given a three-level apartment located outside the main hotel territory, which felt quite strange for a resort of this level. It was far from the main infrastructure, and the apartment itself was literally outside the hotel gates, which made us feel somewhat isolated from the actual hotel atmosphere. Another issue was that the apartment had carpet flooring, and unfortunately I immediately developed an allergic reaction, as it honestly felt like the carpet had not been properly cleaned for a long time. We asked the reception to change our room, and thankfully they did. However, the situation itself was unpleasant because the original room already cost around €700 per night, and on top of that we had to pay an additional €150 for five days to move to another room. What made the experience disappointing was the way it was communicated to us. The staff emphasized that it was our own fault for not paying attention to the room details and flooring type when making the reservation. For a hotel at this price level, it did not feel very client-oriented. Instead of trying to make guests feel comfortable and cared for, we were made to feel responsible for the inconvenience, while also being asked to pay extra to solve the issue. Overall, the staff in the restaurants and around the hotel were generally polite and pleasant. However, there were moments when it felt like some employees were simply trying to end the conversation as quickly as possible rather than genuinely helping. For example, on our last evening we went to the reception desk and asked whether there were any available tables in any of the hotel restaurants for dinner, since it was our final night.

Everything was perfect. Thank you to the staff for their kindness and professionalism. Our stay as a family was memorable and our children had so much fun!
