La Foresta Nature Resort

Beautiful grounds. Good parking. About 25 minutes from Manuel Antonio Park. Large room with a nice porch. Some road noise. Breakfast was a served buffet and with only one server so the line was very long - especially with tour groups there.

Spacious, clean, comfortable, well-cared for gardens and outdoor area. Staff really kind, helpful, polite. Access to rainforest trails and great diversity of wildlife.

A bit bland decor in the room. Evening meal not the best. Noise of the traffic. However, all in all a lovely experience.

The room and grounds were beautiful. We were hungry when we arrived and didn’t realize they had an open air restaurant on site. There just happened to be some folk dancers performing. It was magical!

We turned on the air conditioner but didn’t realize the window was open. Slept fine but it was wasteful.

We loved our stay at La Foresta; the rooms were lovely and comfy, with good AC and wonderful showers/toiletries. The grounds are gorgeous and we saw iguanas, monkeys, and all kinds of butterflies. The Titi canpopy tour that goes right from the hotel was brilliant, and the pool area was lovely and clean - we never struggled to get a sun bed. The staff were wonderful, especially Ivan at the front desk who couldn't do enough for us - even decorating the room for our daughters birthday! All in all, lovely place in a very convenient location
