Sunset Springs Beach Retreat

So ein schöner ruhiger Ort!!

Very good location and nice owners, good price

Bathroom and toilets not too clean but for the price it was expected

The bungalow rooms were air conditioned and clean. The beachfront pergolas were good for spending hours doing nothing in peace. The kitchen has bintangs, which is quite rare around here, especially cold.

Only breakfast was available and we were advised that the nearest ok restaurant was 3 klm away Luckily we had a scooter and the Bale hoa restaurant was excellent.

Sunset Springs is a relaxing, small beach resort on the north western coast near Gondang. It's quiet and the small cabins with fans (AC cabins also available) and open air baths are comfortable. Enjoyed swimming. The water is clear and the waves not that strong.

Lovely place, great value for money.

The location to the ocean and the beautiful sunsets. Quiet, simple no frills or fuss Alpie the chef and allrounder cooked great food and provided us with transport to the harbour. Staff and owners were polite, engaging and helpful. The value for money.room was simply furnished bed comfortable, fan and air con kept mozzies at bay.Cold shower worked well for us. Come prepared for a an experience based on the price.Be open minded, respectful and embrace the local culture.It's a predominantly Muslim culture with lots of mosques nearby so you will be woken pre sunrise with amplified prayers.Time to then fall back asleep or go for an early swim or walk. You can't control what mother nature did to the newly built resort with earthquake and multiple after shocks a few years ago. Throw in a worldwide pandemic as well and understand it takes time to revitalise and recover.

Directly next to the beach, cute bungalow with AC and roof ventilator, great staff, huge and beautiful garden, open roof bathroom with view on frangipani and coconut trees, huge and comfortable bed. They even provided moskito repellent if that can disturb you (it didn't disturb us!)
