Alcove Bungalow

Na een lange reis waren deze bungalows precies wat we nodig hadden. Heerlijke bedden, smaakvol ingericht in een prachtig aangelegde tuin. Het personeel is fantastisch: vraag iets en ze staan direct voor je klaar. Zijn ze even niet aanwezig, dan zijn ze altijd bereikbaar via WhatsApp. De inrichting is bijzonder – een zeldzame jaren ’50 Chinese stijl die overal in het resort is doorgetrokken. Overdadig gedecoreerd, romantisch en met oog voor detail. Alles wat je onderweg nodig kunt hebben, is hier beschikbaar. Bij de buurman (ping) huur je eenvoudig een scooter of auto. Stuur hem een appje en hij brengt je desnoods overal naartoe. Tegenover de bungalows ligt een strandtent waar ’s avonds live muziek en vuurshows plaatsvinden. De menukaart is een heerlijke mix van Frans en Thais, en de sfeer is altijd goed – niet voor niets zit het er altijd vol. De eigenaressen, twee ontzettend lieve Franse dames, doen er werkelijk alles aan om je verblijf 100% naar wens te maken. Een absolute aanrader!

Om lekker te kunnen zwemmen moet je naar een naastgelegen strand. Secret beach. 5 min op de Scooter.

The Alcove team were outstandingly friendly and helpful. The bungalow, set amongst the trees, was peaceful and beautifully set up and the information folder was very, very informative.

The dog poo dotted around the place.

I’ve stayed here three times for so many reasons. The location, the friendly staff, the perfect bar across the road. I will always come back.

The property has a lot of charme. The rooms are cozy and you can tell that little details have been added to make you feel at home. The rooms are spacious and clean. The porch is a delight - big chair, hammock and bench. The location is perfect and you have everything you might needed within 2 mins walk - scooter rental, money exchange, 7 Eleven, bars & restaurants. Best stay.

I love the place,so peaceful,sitting in the balcony,especialy at night . The staff so helpfull and always a smile ....and so cute little cat!

Attention to small details. They though about every single need you might have.

Better water pressure in the shower would be nice.. :)
