The valley is quiet and very relaxing. The caravan itself was dated, but clean. The heating worked well and kitchen had all basic amenities. The water out of the taps was amazing

The hot water was temperamental. Some times it worked perfectly, but often we could not get hot water out of the shower, or it would get hot and then switch to ice cold half way through. Very frustrating. Not sure what is happening at this site, the caravan side seem to be in managed decline. Over 75% of the vans are derelict with boarded up windows and rotten decking. The sooner these wrecked caravans are removed the better. It resembled a strap yard in places. That being said, the actual grounds were well kept and it did have a certain charm..but I think it's a shadow of its former self.

Very poor equipment in the kitchen. The shower is far too small for a tall person ( 2.00 m ) Very poor carpeting in the room. Damaged in several places.

The location was the only redeeming quality of our stay. It’s set in a beautiful area. Unfortunately, everything else was a letdown.

The cottages were not properly cleaned. The rooms had a noticeable lack of attention to detail, and we found things like dust and unkempt areas, which is disappointing for any guest. However, the worst part of the experience was the behavior of the staff. Despite informing them in advance about our arrival time, the staff was not welcoming at all and was extremely rude and used foul language (specifically, F words) in front of ladies, which was completely unacceptable and disgusting.

The mattress is not good and felt like it has broken 😕
