The host was very kind and friendly. She always paid attention to our needs and had excellent suggestions for us. The breakfast was different each day and the hut was very quiet and peaceful.

Koh Kood Little Hut is a lovely retreat nestled in lush greenery, surrounded by mango trees, rubber trees, pineapples, and vibrant flowers. It truly feels like an oasis of peace and calm. The warm hospitality of the owner, who goes above and beyond to ensure guests feel at home, sometimes even more than is necessary. Overall, it's a great place to relax and immerse yourself in nature, provided you're prepared for a few rustic quirks.

However, being close to a main road, traffic noise from scooters and cars can be heard until late at night and early in the morning. The accommodation itself is a rustic chalet with thin walls, which might affect sleep quality, especially for light sleepers. One small improvement would be breakfast variety; offering at least two types of tropical fruit would enhance the experience, given that we are on a beautiful island full of fresh produce, and the accommodation is not inexpensive (THB 1500/night). Also, in 2025, it is inconvenient that credit card payments are not accepted, regardless of whether it is a small or large business.

It was a supercosy place, and the owner was SO helpful with literally everything. It was the nicest person I have ever met so far on this journey. It was a blessing to stay at her place! She helped us with motorbikes, breakfast to go when we overslept, and she helped my friend to clean his wounds when she saw he have felt with a motorbike. She also learned us some stuff about a special flower in her garden. That place I will late forget.

On a lovely green/natural site. Can hear nature all around you. The owner and her staff were very attentive and smiley which makes all the difference each day.

There wasn’t anything we didn’t like about the property.

It’s tucked away in nature with a wonderful and very very friendly owner. She is super chatty and genuinely interested in making sure you have a great stay. The place is rustic and Thai style, not like a standard resort. It has 2 single beds pushed together that was not an issue. Location is away from a majority of restaurants but a scooter for 10 mins gets you most places. I enjoyed the stay, amazing value for money :)

Curtains let a lot of light in but we covered them with towels and it was all good

The owner Oi is warm, friendly and welcoming. She had always time to help and chat with us. Breakfast is very good; healthy and delicious. Location is peaceful and the garden is beautiful. It is far from the beaches but renting a scooter is easy. We will come back next time in Koh Kood. Big recommendations!
