Beautiful, meticulously maintained grounds. Lovely balcony.

Room smelled of mold. Bathroom lacked simple easy-to-install aids: towel bars, robe hooks. Property has MANY steps. NOT handicap-accessible.

The room was very spacious and when the housekeeping cleaned it was very clean. Bed was super comfortable

Service from the staff at the reception was very poor. Not helpful or friendly and slow

Well designed, very green and peaceful.

It would have been ideal if it were really close to the beach, not requiring the 10 minute drive or 30 minute walk along busy narrow roads to reach it.

The location of the property is lovely as it is set back from the main road and lovely and quiet. the hotel is clearly a little old but is well looked after. the grounds with all the trees and planting make it feel special. The rooms were lovely. Clean, well laid out, shower big and just a lovely room. The pool area was lovely and despite the pool being freezing, there were always towels ready and the pool and area around were spotlessly clean. This hotel was not alone in the Indian hospitality. It still needs a lot of work but our overall stay was lovely.

Our initial greeting at the hotel was cold. We were shown to a room that had no view other than barbed wire along a wall and was very dark. When I informed the staff that I was not willing to stay in that room, they said everything else was occupied. Clearly not the case as two minutes later we were shown another room with stunning views and high up on the hill. Breakfast was not great. An average choice with a chef that couldn't cook eggs and the coffee was awful. Our biggest issue with our stay was the staff. Loads of them! There just seemed to be lots of staff wondering around doing nothing and this made me feel a little uncomfortable when constantly walking past me by the pool. The whole time we sat by the pool, it wasn't until the last day when we were offered anything to eat or drink. Our initial interaction with a very grumpy looking woman telling me I couldn't have a nice room with a view left a bitter taste in my mouth and then to top it off, we asked for a taxi to be booked only for us to stand there for 20 mins waiting for it when the guy hadn't gone in to order one for us, just to chat to his mate.

The property setting is nice and extremely family friendly

The internet speed could be better. The pool table and the pool sticks need to be replaced. We requested the team to view the pool village as we were hoping to move to a pool villa, but were denied as they advised us that we would need to book it and couldn’t just view it. We had requested to view it first as we wanted to make sure that it was baby friendly before we booked it.
