Midnite Inn

We were only here for one night before our trip to El Nido. It was a smart decision not to spend the whole day on the road because it is very tiring. The room has everything you could possibly need. It is a whole mini studio that lends itself to a long term rental. We hardly had time to use anything in the 1 night we spent here, and we didn't even see the pool. But did note how thoughtful everything is. The owner also promptly tries to do his best to make sure that the tenants have everything they need.

Loved this place as soon as the first night. Rooms were modern,beds big and comfortable,shower had good pressure and hot.Aircon was ok. The Hotel was very clean,a lovely pool in the middle of the accomodation. Table and chairs and a drying rack outside your room. Free Drinking water and Hot water for tea and coffee. A nice basic restaurant and bar with a lovely feeling of peace and relaxation. I decided to book 3 extra nights and use as a base for tours of Panglao and Bohol. ALONA Beach was 20 mins away and Tagbilaran City on Bohol 10-15 mins. Have really enjoyed my stay here and would recommend.

For some the location is a bit remote and there is nowhere near to walk to. Otherwise nothing negative!

Quiet place.

Poor wifi. TV reception worked briefly once in 4 day stay. No tech staff available. Decrepit bed frame, squeeked endlessly. Minimal food offerings from restaurant, of mixed quality and extremely slow, often served cold.

Basic room, comfortable, moderately clean. Good scooter rental price. Fast, strong wifi (when electricity was working). Small but clean pool you can chill in. Attentive staff, thank you girls. It was ok, but not great.

The location is quite remote, with no cafes, restaurants, or stores nearby, only locals, so you'll need a scooter to get around. The staff didn't speak English, so communication was not really possible (even tho the girls tried their best, none of my questions could be answered). There was a scheduled power outage from 5 AM to 12 PM, but it ended up lasting much longer (which, of course, was beyond the hotel's control). However, this information was widely shared by the electricity provider BOHECO as I found out later, and other accommodations informed their guests ahead of time so they were prepared. Unfortunately, no one mentioned this when I checked in the day before. Since the hotel doesn't have a generator, we were without electricity for most of Saturday. These things happen and I don't blame the hotel of course. But had I known about this in advance, since that information was distributed beforehand, I could have made alternate plans for the day (and charged my powerbanks lol). Not very professional. Lastly, no extra locks on rooms doors and the complex is completely open- no gate, no security. I didn't feel 100% safe as a solo traveler.

The two girls tried everything they can to make a perfect stay. We had a Chocolate Hill-House, which had a lot of space. The pool was clean, the wifi was good (about 50mbps), even in the accommodation. So if you have some online-Meetings, you can do that everywhere on the premises. The Chocolate Hill has a window in the roof, so you will be waking up with the sunrise and have daylight in the room all day. If you want to go out for dinner, you probably have to go by scooter.

The surrounding area is a bit noisy (which is not the fault of the hotel), and mostly some dogs, roosters and one guy singing karaoke. But it doesn’t effect the sleep. And you will not hear a lot of noise from street like scooters.

It's an amazing place to stay, peaceful and quiet. Rooms are very clean and spacious bed was so comfy, staff is very friendly and helpful, you can rent a motorcycle in the hotel to go around easily and the owner is very nice and helpful he gave us lots of recommendations of what to do and where to go. We were booking only 2 nights, but we extended 5 more. Highly recommend 👌 💯
