"There will not be a second stay at Seacastles."

The location is great.

It was terrible customer service from minute one. The hotel is run by people in their young twenties who are not customer service oriented. The rooms are NOT serviced unless requested. We were there 6 days. We had to ask 3 times for toilet paper. The property definitely needs upgrading. The jets in the outdoor tub didn’t work (except for one jet). The indoor pool falling apart We had to have the room moved to first level as they do not have elevator service. There is no safe in the room for valuables. Let’s just say 100% disappointed overall. For several hundred dollars a night it was NOT worth it. This was a special 60th birthday week and they couldn’t even have flowers delivered to the room. The advertisement for Seacastles is misleading for sure.

Indoor pool and Jacuzzi were great. Beds very comfortable, bathroom very clean with plenty of towels.

A night light on the bottom staircase from the loft bedroom would help as the bathroom was downstairs.

"Paying for location only"

The location of this property is excellent! This is what you are paying for at this property. We paid almost $500 per night during our stay for the location. Marginal Way directly across the road and lots of restaurants and shopping right down the road. Loved the location!

This resort is OLD. There is a funky cleaner (?) smell in the unit that never goes away. Not sure if it is cleaner or covering of an odor after being closed up? Everything apart from the new bathroom they put in is very dated. Very "campy" feel. Housekeeping only came once for our stay and left a couple towels and did nothing else. No tidying, no bed making. No breakfast. I didn't expect luxury, but just too old for me even with the location.

Location great! Walkable to town & beaches.

Sofa bed not comfortable at all. Housekeeping did not empty baskets or check and leave clean towels in bathroom daily if needed. Maybe have to ask for them. We also mentioned shower door may have not been on "track" completely, unless it was supposed to be that way..cuz kept sliding open when in shower.
