Boathouse Country Inn

What a gorgeous location. Right on the lakefront, with a view of the cruise boats coming and going.

NO INTERNET, with the exception of 5-10 minutes a day. Even our data wouldn’t work… no phone calls incoming or outgoing! The smell in the bedroom was not pleasant. I believe it is a mattress issue. The staff were over-worked students at the pub next door. We could never get hold of the host. There were a large group of us and we all experienced the same issue, poor communication.

There was no place to eat breakfast

Had no place to eat breakfast ? No internet service as advertised. And zero commuication with management. We booked out rooms a frw months ahead . We tried ti call this place many many times and they do not return phone calls. The calls go to a bar . And you have to leave a message that no one will ever return. There were cancelations within out group that we wanted to take the rooms . But there would not answer call so we had to book rooms at other hotels. Then we find out that those rooms were empty after we had paid for other rooms. Absulutelu disgracefull a d zero reapect for custimers

Lovely location on the water. Food was good in the restaurant. Paula, the room staff person was very nice and helpul.

This hotel is not really equipped for guests before July. We base our hotel/motel decision on several things, one being breakfast, whether included or available at their restaurant. The restaurant does not open for breakfast before July. There was nowhere even remotely closeby to get breakfast and there seemed to be no staff on site to ask. The staff was not aware of the the tornado warning in the area and had no protocol to deal with their guests. No one seemed to care. We were the only ones staying there I believe. They put us in the worst room they had. It was small, dark annd had 1 chair which should be in the garbage.

First time staying at the Inn but not the first time at Cornwalls. Always enjoy the vibe there and the staff are always lovely.

Food was a little cold but I never like to complain so just went with it

The staff could not have been any nicer or more helpful!1 It is a good place to sit, stay and relax!!! The Restaurant next to the motel exceeded our needs and the food was very good!!! Our thanks to Paula for her caring ways and accommodating our needs!

The location of it was amazing and the staff were kind and helpful.

There are cobwebs in the bathroom and dust in a couple places, especially underneath the bed.

Very clean. Helpful friendly staff. Dockside river view location.

No smoke detector in room.

The view was incredible, the balcony was right on the river with a little beach thing where you can swim.

The wifi was poor
