Wildhaven Sonoma Glamping

This place could do with focusing on the customer experience rather than trying to squeeze every last dollar from visitors. We just wanted to leave the car for a few hours but were initially told that we would have to pay for an early check in to do so. We then asked to move to empty cabins away from the road and were again told that we would have to pay for this. On the site, the first night was noisy as the campsite is so near to the road. And, yes, you can access the river but it is nothing special. We won’t be returning.

Staff were friendly and welcoming; glamping was a lovely experience

It was clean

Not enough foliage and tents too close together. My reservation said Riverside however you can’t even see the river from anywhere in the campground.

Clean bathrooms with great handwashing station, complete with cute plants and flowers! Rooms/Tents are excellent with heater, heated bed and mirror! Fabulous and helpful staff! The Russian river is steps away from camp site! Easy check in! Fabulous coffee station and deck to enjoy! Highly recommend!

I appreciated that we were accommodated to be closer to my daughter and the grandbabies. This put us closer to the river entrance which was amazing. I would totally do this trip again.

Riverside

The property itself was nice and not to far of a walk from my cabin to the private river access. I rented the cabin, due to the reviews I read about the noise and I was hoping it was more sound proof. Even in the cabin I still heard noise and apparently it's harvest season so it was noisy all throughout the night. If you want a quiet get away this is not the place for you. They supply earplugs for that reason. The heated mattress was a plus but unfortunately the mattress was too hard for me. I wasn't able to get any good rest for the one night I stayed. The staff were all very friendly, cute convenience store with limited items for sale, free coffee/tea station was a plus, the bathrooms, showers and public areas were clean. There was some dirt/leaves that were on the floors, a big spider and spider webs in my cabin. The bedding/linens were clean. Considering the price, I may not be back.

Nice glamping bear bay area

It was very comfortable and clean. They had someone there to help answer any questions about the area. They had discounts at local businesses. There was a free coffee and hot cocoa bar set-up daily. They even kept the paths at the river clean and marked for easy access.

I like the location where is in countryside of Sonoma county and next to a swimmbable river. The any staff we communicated were friendly, helpful and open. Their sincere response when I asked something. (ex: possibility of changing the date, lending some tools etc). Solid tent and bed. Morning coffee and tea stand was good surprise.

We found the distance between tents (neighbor) are much closer than I expected. also the number of tents are more than I thought.
