Nature Lodge

A lovely tranquil location with a remote feel. We had a rustic bungalow for three nights which was fine at the budget level, but might not recommend if you have mobility issues as it’s accessed by a small staircase from uneven ground. Otherwise comfortable, clean and good fun. The restaurant/ bar area offered a decent menu throughout the day. Excellent staff - friendly and helpful. A very nice pool with sunset views from the terrace. It’s a good walk in to Mondulkiri, but doable and tuc-tucs can be quickly summoned by the staff.

Le confort…

It is a bit removed from the town, but preferaly so. There is a large lawn, and a lovely veranda, overlooking an infinity pool. The shower is the star - a recreated indoor garden! The run-off offers feed to plants and grass! The staff is friendly and accommodating.

Listen. It's a bit run down. There were ants on the toilet. The bedsheets were of a very low thread count. BUT - if you're flexible, adaptable, and understanding that this is semi-rural Cambodia, you'll be fine! The hammocks overlooking the views are enough!

Ruhig gelegene Unterkunft in der Natur. Etwas außerhalb von sen monorom, aber deshalb ist es ja auch die Nature lodge. Sehr freundlicher Staff. Wir haben eine fantastische elephant Tour by locals hier gebucht. Vielen Dank, wir haben uns sehr wohl gefühlt.

The fabulous setting, log cabins set among trees made it really restful and truly back to nature. We saw so many birds from the balcony and windows, hoopoes, drongos, oriole. If you're a birdwatcher you'll love it. The staff are just wonderful. Banya especially (?) is so welcoming and kind, she and all of them will do anything to help you and make you comfortable with bedding etc. Really hot shower. The food is good too ! I was recovering from surgery here so it was really my house of healing.thankyou we won't forget it.

The air conditioning didn't work that well, in hot weather it could be stuffy. But they found us a fan. It is back to nature, and the cabins a bit rustic.. some people might expect more comfort but for us, that was the fun of it.

The property and area was excellent. Room size was way bigger than our expectation The restaurant serves limited menu but the cook is really good so we had very nice meals and very helpful staff

While they tried to give the bathroom a wild natury look, it was indeed wild with tree frogs and many insects in it and not very clean. The leaves were clogging the sink, and the Jet spray had too much water pressure The property being in the wild, should put up some fencing mechanism, otherwise we slept with a Gecko and a tree frog inside our room, and had to leave one bed empty as they were sleeping there

Die Lodge liegt ausserhalb der Stadt, was uns gefallen hat. Der Hauptaufenthaltsbereich ist gross und ansprechend gestaltet. Die Bungalows stehen weit voneinander entfernt, sodass man viel Privatspäre hat.

Die Anlage ist ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen und braucht dringend Renovation (Kaputte Fliesen im Pool, morsche Sitzgelegenheiten, defekte Vorhänge usw.) Zudem ist das Essen zwar sehr lecker, aber ziemlich teuer. Das Frühstück mit einem Kaffee und Toast mit Ei kostet 9 USD. Die Elefantentour sollte man nicht unterstützen. Es gibt nur drei Elefanten, die täglich die Touristen unterhalten müssen, und somit nie Pause haben.
