Kalipay Resort Siargao

Cleanliness

No view of the sea..pool was open only till 8pm, not open for late night swim. No toothpaste and toothbrush, no complimentary coffee. Sound of tv though loud enough but not clear. Channel selection for movies were very limited. Netflix was not available.

They are not accommodating. They don't have extra bed. They will charge you extra 3% if you pay w/ credit card but it's against the LAW. I know it so they waived it.

Front office was very helpful in providing whatever services you needed. Made everything very convenient so you can enjoy your stay. Not really walking distance from the main General Luna street where all the action really is but definitely in the middle of a tutu ride from the beach or entertainment center. Perfect for those who like their peace and quiet away from the noise and crowd. Still everything is walkable if you don't mind walking a good15 or 20 minutes in either direction to get to where you want to go. Catching a tutu ride to go anywhere is very simple because they're right outside.

Everything there is pricey so expect to pay more then your average local pesos. Watch out for those coin scams at the beaches selling beads. Got me fooled

Great location, away from the hustle and bustle. The room was like a studio apartment, which was great! The staff were the nicest people on the island, who all went above and beyond.

First time visiting siargao and the staff were super lovely and attentive the moment we arrived, made my birthday extra special too. The rooms were comfortable, clean and spacious. Resort was very close to other restaurants and cloud 9. Staff were helpful with organising tours, renting bikes, laundry and airport transfers. WiFi works really well too. There is a booklet in our room which was super helpful with handy tips and information, I appreciate fine details like this for guests who stay. Overall I'm very happy I did my research and trusted my gut to book a room with Kalipay. I would love to come back here and stay for our next visit to Siargao. Thank you Kalipay!

The shower drain blocks up a bit but not a huge issue at all, seems like a simple fix.

Modern. Large room. Comfortable. Excellent staff. Good restaurant.

Everything was pristine and beautiful. The rooms were spacious and the pool was relaxing. All of the staff were so lovely and friendly, especially the two women who work at the front desk. The food at the restaurant was so good as well!
