Athirappilly Ambady Resort

The staff were very willing to help and accomodating. They were very responsible and open to requests.

Room especially bed cleanliness could have been better. Bathroom was way too small for comfort. No wash basin.

It's a simple resort. I travelled during the off season so there wasn't much crowd. Traditional meal was served for breakfast that was fulfilling. We had Kerala puttu and kadala for breakfast and parantha sbji another day. The location of the place is great, walkable to Athirapally waterfall. Staff is what makes me add extra points. They were really helpful.

Nothing as such. It's a simple property. Value for money.

Very well-maintained resort with beautiful lighting in the evening. Good home cooking at all meals, rooms are clean and our bed was incredibly comfortable. The river was very close and could be reached within 3 minutes to take a cool bath in the pools. Especially in the afternoon this place unfolds its magic. The special thing about this resort is definitely the warmth and generosity of the manager Mr. Shegkar. With his warm-hearted care, he creates a family atmosphere in which you feel welcome at all times.

It’s a 2 minute walk from the river, and if you are a bit adventurous you can walk up the river to get the best view of the waterfalls. We arrived 10 hrs before the check in (at 6am) and they welcomed us and let us check in already in another room for half the price (since we were half a day early). The staff is very friendly and they cooked breakfast and dinner for us. The room was very nice with both ac and fan, bathroom clean and the bed very comfortable.

There were quite a few ants in the room

Staff is very warm. Hygiene standards are good too. Very near to the falls in Athirapally.
