Marijani Holiday Resort

Ci è piaciuto tutto. La posizione, la struttura tipica in mezzo alla natura che sembra davvero un paradiso, e tutti i ragazzi dello staff sono davvero molto bravi e gentili. Non ci hanno fatto mancare nulla. Grazie a Alois e Joseph per la disponibilità in qualsiasi momento, e poi Alex cuoco davvero eccezionale con le sue deliziose colazioni del mattino. Grazie di tutto.

Breakfast was excellent, staff were friendly, helpful and always available, was nice to have a (small) gym onsite. Location was fantastic - right by the beach.

No air conditioning in the room, was woken up twice by the call to prayer, and I wasn't convinced by the toilet's half-hearted attempts at flushing.

Distance to beach was good. We got a free coconut at arrival.

The staff was unfriendly. The design of the property is very outdated (the tiles, bedding etc.). The pool was murky. The room was advertised as self catering however the stove was very basic and only worked at a very strong flame, making (slow) cooking impossible. We had very limited cutlery and tools like a strainer were stained. A water dispenser was provided, however did not work. The staff complained that we didn’t wash the dishes on our first day, while no soap, sponges and dish towels were provided. The soap dispensers in the bathroom were also broken. The room, especially the kitchen did not feel very clean when we arrived. The room got very hot (the ceiling mounted fan was not very effective, however a free standing one helped a bit). It’s nice that an outside sitting area was provided, however mosquitos and flys made it almost impossible to sit there. All in all I’d only consider this accommodation if I’m looking for a place to sleep only, if someone is looking for a place to also cook in etc. this place might not be the best option.

Dos pequeñas cosas, pero no han influido en mi experienca en general 1) pagando 700kes extra por usar la cocina 2) las sabanas eran un poco pequeño
