"Wonderful very special place on a small picturesque beach filled with peace and solitude."

10.0

Wonderful place. Very special, unique and beautiful. The views from eating areas were beautiful as were those from our rooms. The bamboo structures were also very picturesque. Such attention to detail.

It’s a ferry ride over Romblon city, and that usually costs money and has to be arranged. Not a big deal, but it’s not free or easy to just go out on the town a bit or try different places for a meal. Also, I was fine with there ecosystem dry toilet, just as long as folks know this is a bit of an ecosystem type place without endless water and electricity. There was always water and electricity, just not unlimited amounts.

"A moment of calm"

10.0

Mari Lynn and her family were the most wonderful hosts. She cooked us delicious meals made from vegetables her husband grew from his garden and fresh fish he stayed up late at night to fish for us from the cove in front of the resort. The location is incredible-- a private cove on an idyllic island away from all the hustle and bustle of the other islands. The resort is set up to have minimal impact on the environment with composting toilets, solar panels and beautiful huts made from local materials. The experience of staying there will stay with us for life, it was truly magical.

"Great place in isolation for switchin off."

8.0

This is a tiny, secluded cove with access either by chartered boat or a sometimes slippery, unmarked track 15 minutes from the beach with two daily connections to Romblon. Fitst boat from Romblom at 10:00 a.m. and back at 12:30 p.m. My cottage had great views and was airy though a little hot at night. I enjoyed swimming in the hammock by the beach. Take books! The staff dish up nice food at reasonable prices and are lovely. The i turned World most times and is quite good.

The beach though sandy slopes into a rocky sea with only limited and shallow swimming. There's little to do - perfect to switch off, but it could be lonely for the social crowd.

Best resort in the Romblon region and one of the cookie at places in the Philippines ! Luc, Leo and Maryline truly make this place a real piece of heaven : their kindness and availability, the accommodations, the beach, the food, the activities (island hopping, snorkelling in front of the resort, fishing, basketball,…), everything is perfect ! I booked for 3 nights, ended up staying 20 days
