Playa Blanca Beach Resort

The location was at the edge of the beach. It’s less crowded but is also far from the restaurants and water activities.

The power supply is low, we weren’t able to plug in hair drying devices and the air conditioning didn’t function fully. The drains emit a foul odor which we didn’t like. The mattresses smell like people had been sleeping on it while wet.

Beachfront and away from the usual noise from the boulevard. We liked the location of our third room when we extended our stay. It was beachfront and had a wall fan. However, it was beside the construction area, so expect dust and noise until 4 PM, which are their working hours.

The place seemed new from the outside, but inside the room, the facilities were not well maintained, especially the CR. The pool water was also not clear. We extended our stay for another day and chose a twin double-bed room, but the first room we got had a kanal/imburnal smell coming from the bathroom. We couldn’t tolerate the smell because it was so bad, so we asked for another room. That’s when we got the dusty beachfront room, since the room beside it was under construction. We requested a rug because the floor was very dusty, but the resort did not provide one.

Offers best view of white beach property. at the far end of white beach, highly recommended if you want a quiet place in the middle of White Beach.

Thhhheeeeee steeeeeeeeps from the highway to the beach front: 110+ steep steps. Not recommended for elderly and PWDs and also with babies like us. Have to take our breakfast in the adjacent property. No restaurant in this hotel.

The steep uneven rise and run of the stairs from the road down to the resort. If you book this hotel be sure to get shuttle service from Balatero port through Playa Blanca @ 75php per person. The room was adequate CR was good size with hot shower but poor water pressure (Not a big deal) Property is under renovations currently but it's not an inconvenience. We checked in Wednesday afternoon(04/22) and checked out Saturday(04/25) not once did housekeeping visit either of the rooms. No bed sheet change... no fresh bath towels. No housekeeping whatsoever. It's not really a "resort" as nothing is included. It's just a beachfront hotel. The location is amazing as it is at the far end of the beach away from the countless vendors. Decent snorkeling right off the front beach. The staff were pleasant but nothing over the top. It wasn't "amazing" .... it wasn't "terrible" ... it was simply OK with some highs and lows.
