Alona42 Resort

The resort has a nice garden and a pool. Our apartment was nice and clean, staff were always helpful. Breakfast was tasty, and they had European and Filipino choices. The location is also good, the city centre is 15 minutes walking distance.

Beautiful property located in a quiet area within walking distance of the town and beach. The pool was perfect and the rooms were perfect and so clean! A good variety of breakfast choices on the menu which was included in the price. The staff were so friendly and helpful by assisting us with booking excursions/transport etc. would recommend Alona42 to anyone!

A 10-15 minute walk to town/beach which may be too much for some people but ideal for us!

The location was 10 min walk from town.

The bathroom and swimming pool were smelly . There was not even a cook in the restaurant . When I asked for breakfast which was included they went twice to the store because there was no eggs or milk . I waited like 25 min . I payed 40 usd for the room and the place had no cook which means no lunch or dinner available . When I let the staff notice the problems they start being extremely rude . Rude staff not helpful at all . Specially the girl at the reception , she actually said I “don’t care if you write a bad review “ . In one of the night I broke accidentally a glass and they even let me payed 5 usd . I cleaned myself but was not enough . With that money there are definitely better places . The room was just ok . Than I can not say 100% if is their fault but I had some money disappeared but I can not say if was actually their fault . I probably left some money in the room after check out but when I sent them a message they said the cleaner didn’t find any money . I’m not accusing but I still wonder . Overall very low standard for that price .

Location was great, a short walk to Alona beach and restaurants.

Nice pool and dining area and staff were very friendly

Little bit away from the main beach restaurant areas, internet not the best.
